Christian's POV
I did'nt have to beg Brooklyn to dance with me at the complex, she really wanted to go. We got there around 10 and I had a plan to get Brooklyn in the crew. I suggested that we choeregraph our own duet. It worked out well. We discovered that we dance really well together. I lifted her at just the right times in the music. We just flowed...together. I dont know how to describe it. When we finished the dance, it was around noon. I figured it was about time to start talking her into dancing, and out of gymnastics.
"Wow that was....awesome" I said.
"Yea, you got some moves pretty boy." She said as she messed with my hair. I rolled my eyes.
"Not as many as you do, you were great."
"Thanks, I wish I could do this more often. " She said as she looked at the ground.
"Why don't you?"
"Well you know, my mom-" I cut her off.
"Yea yea, I know your mom does'nt like it and she wants you to do gymnastics. Well Brooke, what about what you want to do? You belonng on this floor its obvious." I raised my voice. It frutrated me that she just let her mom win like that.
"I just want to make her happy..."
"Why? She's hardly ever around. She's about to leave you for a year..."
"She's all I have left, I just want her approvel. But... you'r right..."
"BUT!-...Wait, what?" Did she just...agree with me?
"You'r right. It's my life, not hers. I should live it the way I want to." She smiled as she said that.
"So does that mean...."
"Yes, Christian I will dance with your group. But, on one condition." I nodded my head. "You and me. Here. Once a week to work on new stuff."
"DEAL!" I said and hugged her tight.
"Uhh Christian?...Can't breathe!" When I realised what she was saying I let go of her.
"Sorry."
"It's ok. I'm gonna go call Allie and Jackson. I'll be right back!" She said with a huge smile on her face as she left to call them in the hallway. I figured that it was a good time for me to call Justin and tell him the big news.
ring...ring....ring........"Hello?"
"Hey man it's me, guess what?"
"Uhh...You'r in jail and you need me to bail you out?"
"What? No! I'm troube but I'm not that much trouble! Anyway, I got you three new dancers for you crew!"
"No way! You got Brooklyn and her friends? Thats awesome! Ok, emergency group meeting at the complex at 2pm. I'll call everyone." Justin said excidetly, then he hung up.
Brooklyn's POV
I ran out into the hall and quikly dialled Allie's number. It rang two times before she picked up.
"So, I've made a big decision...." I said.
"What kind of decision, and who was that boy you were walking with today?" she asked.
"What do you like stalk me or somthing?"
"No, I just happened to be looking out my window."
"Uh huh.... Anyway, I'm quitting gymnastics!" I said happily.
"Now way! Now you, me and Jackson can have our own crew!" She said. I could hear Jackson cheering in the background.' I guess he was hanging with her today.' I thouught.
"Actually, I already have a crew..."
"What?!"
"And they were kind of hoping that you and Jackson would join too..."
"Of course! Do they have a name?"
"Umm I dont think so. I'll have to ask Christian."
"Ooooo! You and this Christian guy seem to be getting pretty close!" She said.
"Oh shut up!"I said playfully
"I should probably go, Jackson is bouncing off the walls in excitement."
"Haha ok, see ya later."
"Bye" she said, then hung up.
I went back in the room and Christian told me to text Allie and Jackson that we had a meeting at the complex at 2pm. I was so excited. But, in the back of my mind I was thinking, what was I going to tell my mother?
