"What are you still doing here?" I heard a concerned voice mutter, waking me from my terrible, yet deep sleep. I blinked a few times and came round, wiping my eyes so that I could see better. I looked up and saw Sirius Black.

Ignoring what should have been extreme confusion and annoyance, I asked, my voice hoarse, "What time is it?" not even acknowledging the fact that I was talking to Sirius Black in the middle of the night in the girls’ changing rooms.

Blinking a few more times and shaking my head, make an attempt to clear it from the fogginess dulling my senses left over from my sleep. I tried to stand up, but found myself stumbling and almost falling before quickly finding the lockers behind me and leaning against them in order to stay on my feet.

"Rough night?" He winked, looking me up and down, his eyes lingering far too long on the places that he shouldn’t be able to see "I see your little fall didn't leave you unscathed." That was enough to wake me up. A blush found its way to my cheeks as realization dawned on me. I was not wearing any clothes. Sirius could see my body. I froze – He could see my scars. Luckily for me it was the middle of the night and so the poor lighting made my scars invisible to those who weren’t looking too closely.

As quick as I could I grabbed my sweat pants from the floor and pulled them on, gasping from the shock of the pain it caused my ribs. I looked around for my t-shirt but couldn't see it. Before I could look for it any more, Sirius spoke up.

"Looking for this?" Sirius questioned, holing my top out to me on the end of his index finger, a knowing smirk on his face.

"You fucking pervert, give my back my shirt!" I screamed at him, not at all in the mood for an argument or flirting, very much not like me but the day had been long and tiring.

"Come and get it" he winked, wiggling his finger so my top did the same, teasing me as you would a dog with a chew toy.

Disgusted and extremely annoyed, I walked up to him and tried to get it off him with very little effort, knowing perfectly well that he is not the type of person to give it over so easily. Trying ever so hard to not show him the scars that covered my body, I grabbed out for it, just as he lifted it higher. Sighing I reached out for it again. As expected, he lifted it higher and now completely out of my reach unless I jumped, something that is completely embarrassing in any circumstance, even more so just wearing a bra.

"Listen, I know how this goes but I don’t like you, I don’t want to kiss you or have sex with you or whatever so please give me back my t-shirt so I can go back to my dorm and get some sleep, I, unlike some people, actually do my own homework and I have loads to do tomorrow so please..." I held out my hand in expectance of my t-shirt without looking up at him because if I did I knew I would blush, and be embarrassed from what I just said.

After a few seconds I looked up and saw him looking at my neck, his face went blank and the shirt dropped to the floor forgotten. In the most caring way I’d ever seen Sirius ever do anything, he brushed my hair behind my shoulders with the back of his fingers to take a closer look. I lowered my head even more, trying to cover it with my hair again whilst also trying to step out of his reach but he just stepped forward again. He very carefully placed his hands on my neck, tracing his fingers over the dark bruises cautiously before realizing that they were the shape of fingers and hands.

"These bruises are recent, who did this to you" The tone of his voice had completely changed and so had the look in his eyes. He'd gone from flirty to confused and extremely concerned in seconds. He seemed angry almost, and as if he wanted revenge.

Embarrassed and not wanting to explain I ducked under his arms and grabbed my t-shirt from behind him. I looked back at him as I pulled it over my head. He looked towards me, worried and curious. I had the feeling that he wouldn’t just forget about this like I want him to. I shuck my head, tears falling from my eyes, and ran out of the changing rooms, swinging open the door with a slam and out onto the quidditch pitch. I saw the sun beginning to rise over the black lake and ran back to my dorm knowing the girls would either be worried to death or think I slept with someone, both things I didn’t want them to be thinking, as they would both lead to lots of questions that I just wanted to avoid about a night I wanted to forget about.
