Echoing Bane

Good Morning

I open my eyes after being woken up by my little brothers crashing everything in the house. "Marcus! Matteo and Maximus! You better get your little asses out of what ever you're up too. I then see my little sister walk into the bedroom rubbing her eyes and dragging her blanket behind her. "Sissy brothers are breaking things to make an experiment, causing more noise." She tells me as she yawns. "I know Sophie they always are making noises, now come here and lay down okay." I say to her trying to put her back to sleep. Once she was back to sleep I get up about to walk out of the bedroom  and i look in the mirror , then carry on and go start scolding the three little Heathens.
After I did my punishings on the rascals, (punishment by being cleaning the bathroom bedroom and mess the made.) I then start making breakfast for everyone. Sophie sits at the table with the boys waiting for pancakes, eggs and bacon. I see dad walk into the kitchen all groggy from working late last night. "Good morning, dad how did you sleep?" I ask him. "I slept alright darling, I think i need a new bed though its becoming more and more uncomfortable plus my back is starting to hurt." He says. "Well one you need to stop falling asleep in your work clothes and two start lifting heavy equipment with your legs not your back and you wouldn't have these problems." I say to him in response. "Yeah sure. Good Morning little Princess and how are you doing this morning, did you have any dreams last night?" my dad asks Sophie. "Im good papa, I dreamed of a pony last night!!" Sophie says so excited to tell papa her dream. "OH wow, what did the pony do? he asks. " The pony rans around and jumped all over the place, while played with all the other ponies in a garden!", "Wow honey that sounds like an amazing dream you had there.", papa tells Sophie. "Mhm, You should've seen it papa you would've loved it!" she yells still enthused by her excitement. Papa laughs and and agrees with her. "So boys how was your guys night?" He then asks the three boys. "It was good papa we all got to sleep very well," Marcus say. "Hey papa when is Mathew coming to visit us?" Both the twins, Mateo and Maximus ask him. "Um I dont know boys, college has become quite busy for him." Papa says.
Mathew is my older brother who just recently graduated high school and now goes to college at Western Community College in Nevada, so basically across the country from Boston, Massachusetts. Dad works as a mechanic and a plumber, trying to pay at least one year for each of our college. After I go to college in the next year and a half years. Years later it will be my brother Marcus going to college, then the twins and then little Sophie. But dad now has to work two job to make it work, especially when mom died after giving birth to Sophie.
Anyways I need to get the little people out the house later. "Alright is everyone ready for school?" I ask them all. They each look back and forth at each other and hurried into their rooms. "Hurry up you four, you have 40 minutes before the bus arrives!!" I yell to them putting dishes into the sink. My scorpion marking then started to sting me. Which is usually normal for me. I look down at it and it looks as if it were alive. "Acrimony stop controlling my "tattoo" please." I say calmly in my head. "Why? It looks alive and awesome." He says to me. "Because every time you move it, it starts to sting like-" "An actual scorpion I know, I do that on purpose." He says. "Oh shut up, I was going to say like hell" I say back at him. I then start making the kids lunches and when I'm finish I go to my room witha cup of tea with me and start getting ready for school. I walk in to find that my cat had spread all my homework onto the ground. "Thanks Luci because you're being helpful by getting so comfortable." I say to him in a sarcastic tone and he meows to me for response. I than change out of my sleepwear and put on some jeans a Flannel and my converse. I put my hair up into a bun. I then look in the mirror to see Acrimony smirking. "Why are you giving me that look Acrimony?" I ask him with an expressionless tone in my voice."Oh no reason, but you know what tonight is?" he asks me making me grow a bit curious at first. "No what's tonight?" I ask him "Oh it's nothing, it's just that tonight is the 20th moon that's all." I perk up look back up at the mirror. "You really mean it's tonight? Do you think she'll be out?" I ask Acrimony, " I assume so, I mean it does say it in the book she'll be coming out at this time." I then look at the book I was given by acrimony the night we met, sent by a maiden. I then stood up to go pick up the book and as When I opened it up the book to the page of the Woman of the Moon.  I then read aloud, " The Woman of the Moon, also known as Lady of the Moon is a spirit who usually visible on the twentieth full moon, if she appears off calendar it usually means she is trying to communicate with you from moonlight helping her become visible. Born of a Bastard she was mocked and ridiculed by other children of the village everyday because she was hideous and unusual until the day she bewitched them all to die. Later on then she was burned at the stake during the salem witch trials for the crime she made of witchcraft and accused of murder. When she was alive she made many spells, potions, and rituals involving plants, energy stones, the moon, animals, animal sacrifices and many more. " I then take a sip of my tea. "Although in her time she was not favored, now she is important to the history of witches and known for the many stories from meeting creatures of hell and the wandering spirits we call ghosts to her inventions of new curses and so on so forth. Now Amaris is One with this world roaming around aimlessly. You can find her ghost looking more beautiful than her earthly figure and pale as the moon, now roaming in the woods of Boston Freetown Fall River Forest and also in Forest Hills Cemetery-." I then here my cat barking causing me to jump and spill my tea all over. Yes I said barking, I turn around to see that my cat morphed into a hell hound. Luci short for Lucifer is an animal shape shifter, who can take on an image of any earthly and hell like creature but he normally favors the image of a cat. I then look at the time on my clock and it says 6:35. "I guess I'll finish reading when I get back home." I say in my thoughts. I then get up to change out of my now tea stand clothes and into camo jeans and a white t-shirt along with my black hoodie. I then get my book bag and other things together and head off to take the kids to the bus stop. I turn around thinking im forgetting something, "You're forgetting your glasses, the ones that make you look like Harry Potter," Acrimony say making fun of them. "Just because they're big and round doesn't mean they are harry potter glasses, so stop making fun of them. Oh shit their late for the bus!"
