MJ groaned as she heard Mai's alarm go off. The smaller girl always woke up early in the morning, whereas MJ woke up later in the day for work. She rolled out of bed, wanting to get a glass of rootbeer (because that ALL SHE FUCKING DRINKS!!) before falling asleep again.
"Oh hey Moonflower!" Mai greeted, obviously happy. MJ rolled her eyes, not much of a morning person. She yawned before replying.
"'sup Morningstar?" MJ mumbled, pouring herself a glass of the soda in a wine glass. Mai gave her roommate and best friend a really confused look but decided it wasn't worth questioning. MJ swished the bubbly liquid around in the glass before taking a sip of it.
"Oh! Before I forget, I'm having a few friends over later. Mind letting them in if I'm not home by then?" Mai asked, grabbing her satchel and car keys. MJ nodded tiredly before realization crossed her face.
"I have work today, what time are your friends coming over?" MJ quickly asked. Mai laughed softly.
"Don't worry My," Mai smiled, "you'll be home before they get here. After all, your work is a five minute walk and you get out way before me."
MJ nodded and took another sip of her rootbeer. "Mkay, but you better not make socialize with them. I'm not really in the mood to make friendos."
Mai nodded in understanding and left. MJ went back to her room to get dressed. She put on a long sleeve Jack Skellington shirt, dark grey skinny jeans, and purple socks. She brushed her hair and put it in it's normal pigtails. Then she laid on her bed and scrolled through Youtube.
After a while of searching, she sighed in defeat and listened to Set It Off's album Duality. She set an alarm for 10:30a.m, then closed her eyes for some Z's.
