Fateful Encounter

Chapter 1

Forestclan~ Leafnose's POV

She was peacefully sleeping in her nest when Sumdapple comes and growls, "Get up its nearly sunhigh! Go on Treeblossom's hunting patrol!" She lazily gets up and pads out of the warriors den. Before catching up to Treeblossom's, she stretchs in the sun, showing off her neat and muscular spine. During the patrol she catches scent off a mouse. She tells Treeblossom that she is going off on her own for now. She follows the scent, only to find a lingering Streamclan scent. "It's stale but Streamclan was definitely here.", she thinks aloud. She follows the scent further but has to stop at the Streamclan border. She thinks, "I wonder who was here, and why." (Later that night) Sundapple just announced who will be going to the gathering tonight and Leafnose was one of them. On the way to the gathering she pads along side Starrynight who was staring moony eyed at Patchclaw. " How can like that sorry excuse for a cat!? He is so arrogant.", Leafnose says in a defiant way. But Starrynight wasn't listening. Once at the gathering Leafnose looked around (more like sniffed around) for the Streamclan cat that was on her territory. Before she can continue her search further, the leaders begin speaking. (After the gathering) Leafnose lingered a little longer in the gathering place to find the cat. To her surprise she did in fact find the cat. It was none other than, Shrewclaw, and yes, he is definitely a Streamclan cat.
