Wow! It's been ages since I've last been on here. Senior year and graduation was one big blur and now that summer's come around for two more weeks before college starts, I can dedicate more of my time to working on this story and continuing to update you on Audrey's whereabouts.

It was already far into the week but the feeling of Christian's lips on my cheek still lingered. It seemed as if no matter what I did, the stain he had left in my brain still resonated, just as it was on that fateful Saturday night.
No, Audrey, it was just a practice date and he didn't mean to do that. He likes someone else already and you don't want to mess with that. Why are you wrapping your head around this so much?
I continued to eat lunch with our friends but I couldn't face Christian for some odd reason. I always politely said hello to him but drifted away before he could say anything more. One day, he decided to stop me after school and confront.
"Audrey, did I do something wrong?"
I shook my head quickly, attempting to push away from his firm grip on my shoulders.
"Then why are you avoiding me?"
I took a breath to steady myself. "Look, everything's fine. How's that girl of yours doing?"
Instead of answering, he got frustrated. "Audrey, answer me! What did I do?"
"Why did you kiss me on the cheek Saturday night?"
He let go of me, his tall figure starting to shake with what seemed like silent laughter.
"Are you serious, Audrey? You got yourself worked up over that? You really are something, I'm telling you."
He recovered from his moment and became very serious. "I'm very sorry if it happened to offend you. I didn't mean to do that."
"It's fine, I guess. I had a good time with you."
"Are we all good now?" His smile returned.

Homecoming Week was by far, the biggest occasion to hit the school. With every preceeding day came different festivities in the cafeteria and a new costume theme for each of the different classes. The Boys went all out on their celebration, decorating the room with the school's green and white. Usually I was withdrawn from these sorts of things but I couldn't help but get caught up in the wave.
Many of the boys got to work on asking different girls to the Homecoming Dance. At lunchtime, I was stuck with them finding creative ideas for asks, make posters, and choose which flowers to get.
As Derrick was gluing on the pompoms, Richard came up to me.
"You're so nice for helping us all out but do you even have a date of your own yet?"
"I'd never really thought about going in the first place, to be honest."
The whole room went silent.
"Are you kidding me, Audrey? You HAVE to go."
"What? I thought guys didn't even like going to dances."
"Ohana means family and family means--"
"No one gets left behind. I watched it too."
"Now that I think of it, we never really did have an official Initiation Ritual."
"Oh no, don't tell me you're going to do something ridiculous."
