Keep Fighting, Izuku [BakuDeku]

First Day

Time Skip- First Day of School

Izuku POV

"Kacchan, I'm scared. What if they don't like us? What if they think we're freaks. What if-" I say flustered when he interrupts me by putting his hand on my head.

"Shut up, Izuku. They're gonna love you." He says staring at the entrance to UA High. He gets a smirk on his face puts his fists into balls. Small explosions come from his hands and his eyes look determined. "As for me, they'll fear me. I'm gonna beat all of them until I'm at the number one spot." He says maliciously.

"K-Kacchan, you scare me sometimes." I laugh nervously. I lean close to him and whisper in his ear. "I'm really glad you're here. Even if we can't come out." I pull away and smile at him sincerely. His face turns as red as his eyes and he averts his gaze. 

"Me too, Nerd." He says with a slight blush. 

We finally gather up the courage to walk into class. We find the seats with our names on them and I'm excited to see I sit behind Kacchan. Diagonal in the row behind me I see a boy with half white hair and half red. On the red side he has red around his eye. But what caught my attention was his name. Todoroki Shouto. So he's the one who beat Kacchan in the entrance exam?  He notices me looking and turns his gaze is on me. His right eye is icy blue and the other a amber brown. 

He gets up and walks over to me, hand extended. "What's up? I'm Todoroki Shouto." I return his kindness and shake his hand. "Midoriyia Izuku. Nice to meet you. Sorry if I was staring. I just realized you took the number one spot in the exam so I was curious." I say awkwardly putting my hand on the back of my head. 

Just then the teacher walks in and we all take our seats as I try to contain my excitement. He introduces himself. But I already know who he is. Mr. Aizawa. Codename: Eraserhead. He can erase other people's quirks just by looking at them! He's a pro hero! This is so exciting!

He finishes talking and I realize I didn't hear a word. "Alright, any questions?" He asks in a monotone voice. Almost every hand in the class is raised, including mine. He sighs. "Any questions not related to missions I've done as a pro hero?" All the raised hands go back down.

The bell rings signaling lunch and I go to approach Kacchan to see if we can eat together when I'm cut off by a bubbly brunette. "Hi, I'm Uraraka. I saw what you did in the exams. I thought it was really brave. Wanna eat lunch with Iida and I?" I go to capture Kacchan's eyes but receive no answers from them. 

"S-sure. But if I can bring Bakugo with me. He's my friend." I say nervously, remarking to myself how weird it is to call him by his last name. 

She looks at him with his usual resting bitch face. "O-okay." She says nervously. 

The four of us walk in a group and meet at a lunch table after we've gotten our food. Kacchan and I sit on one side of the long table and Uraraka and the tall boy with glasses named Iida sit on the other side. "So Midoriya, this is Iida," she says and he extends his hand across the table and I shake it. 

"This is Bakugo Katski, he's my... childhood friend. I say as the two of them extend out hands to shake with him. He doesn't shake their hands and just looks at them with a "Tch." 

Another boy with red hair comes and sits next to Kacchan and begins to talk to him. "I saw how you were in the entrance exam, bro. That was really manly." He says with a goofy smile. "I'm Kirishima." 

"Bakugo." He says and continues eating his food. 

He's more quiet than I expected. I figured he would've been yelling by now. 

Kirishima introduces himself to us and we all talk about why we walk to be heroes. Everyone talked about the reasons why they wanted to be and then it got to be Kacchan's turn. 

"I wanna be number one and I'll kick anyone's ass who thinks they can be number one instead. I'll be the next All Might." He says aggressively with a smug look on his face. I look around and see Uraraka and Iida shift uncomfortably. Now it's my turn.

"I wanna save people with a smile, just like All Might. I'll surpass Kacchan and become number one. I won't let anyone beat me and I'll work as hard as I have to so my dream can be reality." I say determined. Kacchan looks me in the eye, angry. 

"The fuck did you say, Nerd?!" He says angrily gripping the edges of his metal tray. They start to turn orange as steam comes from the palms of his hands.

I look him in the eye to show my determination. "I will surpass you, Kacchan." I say seriously. Kacchan you know why I want to surpass you. We won't have to hide anymore and it'll make me a better hero if I become stronger.

Bakugo POV

I hear Izuku contest me in front of everyone talking about how he wanted to be number one too. It started to piss me off until he looked me in the eye. I know why you want to surpass me, Izuku. Honestly, even if you never do I don't know how much longer I can wait. I don't want anyone to try and steal you away from me. God you're so hot when you get all serious and determined about what you're passionate about. 

I stand up with my tray. "Come with me, Nerd." I say angrily and he follows me up to drop off our trays and into the bathroom. We get in the bathroom and I check under the stalls and don't see anyone. 

"K-Kacchan, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you upset. But you know why I wanna surpass you so bad and why I wanna be a her-" I cut him off with a rough kiss, pushing him against the wall and getting close to him. I finally pull away after a short time. 

"I know why, Izu. God, you're so fuckin' hot when you're passionate about something." I say lingering just inches away from his lips, barely unable to keep away from him. My breath trembles with how fast my heart is pounding. 

Surprisingly he closes the distance between us and runs his fingers through my hair. I want so bad to do something but we hear footsteps outside the door and quickly pull away from each other. Our faces turn red and I quickly rush into a stall and Izuku pretends to be washing his hands when I hear the door open. 

"Midoriya, I just wanted to make sure you were okay. Bakugo seemed pretty mad so I kinda wanted to make sure he wasn't beating you up in the bathroom or something."  I hear a voice say. It sounds like the boy from lunch, Iida. 

I wish I could beat him up but not in the way you're thinking of, bastard.

He laughs sincerely. "No, Kacchan wouldn't do that to me." I hear the door open and Izuku asks him about his quirk on the way out. 

I sigh and open the stall. That was way too close.

 Time skip- End of the Day

I walk Izuku home and begin to head home when I'm met by the half and half bastard that was talking to Izuku before class. Todoroki Shouto. 

"Hello, Bakugo. It seems we live near each other. That's great I wanted to talk to you anyway." He says with a smug smile on his face. "I see the way you and Midoriya look at each other and I saw how he saved you in the exam. But he's piqued my interest. How about you back down from him so I can make him mine?" He smirks and snickers.

I clench my fists and it takes everything in my power not to kill this kid. "You damn fool. You don't even know Izuku. Who the hell do you think you are? Izuku is my boyfriend. He loves me. He's not up for grabs and he sure as hell isn't someone I'd give up just because some half and half bastard asked me too. Fuck off." I walk away angrily, fuming with rage.

(Guess there's some competition at the high school now. Will Katski choose to come out so everyone knows he and Izuku are together so they'll back off?
