Chapter 1-How it all began

Alexander's P.O.V

I hadnt been feeling the feelings I first felt when I first saw Eliza for a while now. I just felt like there was so much more love U could give to someone, but all the love I was giving to Eliza was on a best friend level. Eliza's been the same way, so I'm thinking about asking for a divorce. It's not like she loves me that much anyway, no one could ever love me like my mother.

2 hours later

"Umm, Eliza, can we talk?" I asked, extremely nervous. " Yes, of course! " She replied, a little too excited, maybe she was planning to talk about something as well? "Actually I have needed to talk to you about something as well, Alexander..." Oh, shit... She only says 'Alexander' when it's something really important... "Oh, alright, you go first." I say, just in case it's something different to what I wanted to say and I don't hurt her feelings. " I think we should divorce... " She said, "I just feel like I could live someone else a lot more than I love you... I'm sorry." " No, no, it's okay, that's actually what I wanted to tell you and exactly how I felt! " Oh thank God she isn't saying she wants to start a family, I don't think I could take that much pressure right now! "How are we going to tell the others?" I ask. " I'll call them over right now! " and after that she just left the room to call the others.

1 hour later

"So, why did you call us here Eliza?' Laurens asked. "Alexander a-and I w-wanted to tell y-you all s-something i-important!" Eliza replied. " are you planning on having children!? " Angelica asked, looking excited at the thought of being and aunt. "No, quite the opposite..." Eliza paused, " Alexander and I a-are g-getting a divorce... " She said, then broke down into tears. W-why is she crying? "ALEXANDER! HOW COULD YOU!?" Angelica yelled, making me slightly tear up. " 'Mon ami', this is the worst thing you could of possibly done to dear Eliza!" Lafayette shouted. " Wow, way to ruin everything, 'buddy' " Hercules stated, clearly pissed. "YOU'RE SUCH A TERRIBLE PERSON! YOU'RE DISGUSTING!! MAKING SOMEONE SO UPSET LIKE THIS!" Laurens yelled, louder than everyone else, making me flinch. 'YOU'RE DISGUSTING!!'

Flashback

"F-father, I need to tell you something..." I said. " Yes, Alex? " He asked, awaiting my answer. I took a breath in them told him, "I like boys, as well as girls!" He stood up and came towards me, then slapped me across the face. " F-father!? " I asked. "I AM NOT YOU'RE FATHER, NO SON OF MINE WILL LIKE BOYS! YOU'RE DISGUSTING!!" He yelled, then started to punch me continuously.

End of flashback

I didn't even realise I was crying until Lafayette shouted at me again, "Why are you the one crying 'mon ami' " I couldn't take it anymore, I ran out of the door, sobbing. "Why is it always me everyone ends up hating?" I whisper to myself.

Eliza's P.O.V

O-Oh no... Now everyone thinks that he was the only one who wanted the divorce, now they hate him, and it's all my fault for being such a wimp... I sobbed even more at the thought making everyone else even angrier at poor Alexander. I'm sorry for this, if only they saw your tears just now...
