Chapter 1: Scared!!
"Hanna! Let's go! We are gonna miss the train!" Harry yells up the stairs.
"I'm coming!" I yell back as I drag my trunk down the stairs.
"There you are darling." Mum says. "All ready?"
"Yup. Where's Dad?"
"Right here." Dad comes walking in. "Go get in the car, Pumpkin." I go get in the car and as soon as my seatbelt is buckled, Harry punches me in the arm.
"What was that for?"
"Are you ready for your 1st day at Hogwarts?"
"No! I'm so scared! What if I'm put in Slytherin? What if I don't make any friends? What if..."
"Stop. You'll be fine. You have Ron, Fred, George, Percy, Ginny, Hermione, and me. You already have friends."
"But..,"
"Don't worry."
"But I am worried. Honestly, what if I am put in Slytherin?"
"You won't."
"You two ready to go?" Mum asks.
"Of course!" Harry shouts.
"I guess..." I whisper.
"What was that, Pumpkin?" Dad asks
"Nothing." I say a little too quickly.
"Okay..." Dad replies.
"I'm gonna go to sleep." I say.
"Okay, Darling. Goodnight." Mum says.
And I drift off into a dream filled sleep. The same dream I've had for weeks.

The Sorting Hat is on my head and its whispering in my ear.
"You will be in Slytherin. You will be in Slytherin. You will be in Slytherin."
"NO!" I shout.
"Yes. Yes. Yes."
"NO!" I shout again.

"Hanna? Wake up. You are dreaming." Mum says. My eyes flutter open.
"Where are we?" I ask sleepily.
"The train station."
"Oh."
"Darling, what's wrong?"
"I'm scared."
"Why? You've been looking forward to this for ages."
"I know, but... What if I'm put in Slytherin? I don't want to be a disgrace to our family." I'm crying now.
"Hanna Lily Potter! No matter what happens you will never be a disgrace to our family."
"But Dad said that any Slytherin is a bad excuse of a wizard."
"Ignore your father. He doesn't know what he's talking about."
"Thanks Mum."
"No problem, Sweetheart."
*On the Train*
"Hermione! Fred! George! Ginny! Percy!"
"Hanna!" they all chime back at me.
"Where are Harry and Ronald?" I ask.
"We were just asking ourselves that." Ginny replies.
"Oh well, they are probably just getting into trouble, like always. Are we all sitting together?"
"Of course." Fred and George reply simultaneously.
