Overlord Ruby x Sorcerer Male Reader

(Halloween Special)

A few days had passed since Ruby had exploded Melvin Underbelly, things had gone much better for the village, they now worshipped and praised Ruby, accepting her as their master and living under her protection and rule, with Minions guarding the city from invaders.

Since then team RWBY, and the Sorcerer (Y/N) remained in the Nether World to have a rest, Ruby spent most of her time at the Forge, drooling over the weapons she could create, and upgrading the Minion Burrows for the Minions.

Weiss spent her time reading books she had brought from the surface, studying various combat books and sometimes taking (Y/N)'s recommendations for reading scrolls and books the previous Overlord held.

Blake would keep an eye on the young Sorcerer, worried about him influencing Ruby to commit truly evil deeds, like killing people or such, though she would also spend time with Weiss, she actually found herself enjoying her time with the Heiress, nowadays.

Yang would fight the monsters gathered by the Minions in the Battle Rock, the Reds would pay special attention to her when she threw projectiles at the Grimm, they cheered the loudest for Yang during these fights, when they weren't cheering for Ruby at least.

And as for (Y/N), he was simply watching over his Mistress as she grew into her position as the Overlord, he had helped Ruby with upgrading the Red and Brown Minion Barracks, making the Minions stronger, he spent most of his time with the Minions or studying books of Evil spells and such he had inherited from Gnarl.

However, there was something else (Y/N) was doing, he was planning...

(Y/N)'S POV

I walked to the Tower and quickly took a portal up to the surface world, normally I hated to go to the surface, with all the lush grass and light magic Fairy nonsense around, but this was one of the best times of the year to walk the surface world, it was All Hallow's Eve, or Halloween for the kids, the days were shorter now, and the trees were starting to lose their leaves, their branches like gnarled, twisted fingers grasping the wind.

"Ah, Halloween... the day of Evil and Dark Creatures, oh, if only Gnarl were still alive to see this sight..." I said as I glanced over the scene, which had changed a lot since October was almost over.

"Well, I suppose it's time to get into the Halloween spirit, come forth Minions!" I said as I walked to the Minion Gate, summoning ten Browns and five Reds, the Minions gathered around me, giggling excitedly as they took in the Halloween air around us all.

"It's time we celebrate the Holiday, the Evil way" I said with an evil laugh, the Minions laughed alongside me before we walked to where Bob's Farm used to stand, I checked the fields and quickly found what I were looking for, some large, newly grown Pumpkins

"Alright, gather them up and bring them to the Tower!" I ordered as the Minions rushed on ahead, cheering and whooping as they took the Pumpkins from the fields, the Minions each carried a few and brought them back to the Tower Gate, where they were sent back to the Tower.

"Excellent, plenty of Pumpkins to decorate the tower, now let's go find some more decorations" I said as I lead the Minions to the woods, so we could find some creepy things to decorate the Tower with.

I reached the town that my mistress Ruby had liberated from the Halflings, there were people who seemed anxious, and the number of children in the village seems to have gotten smaller since we were last here.

"Oh, the adviser to the Dark Lady, please, allow me an audience with the Mistress, it is news most dire!" Nym said as he approached, still holding his lute with his brown hair covering his eyes.
