It was dark and stormy. But, it wasn't supposed to be dark and stormy, it was supposed to be all sunshine and smiles as Ash reached his tenth birthday with a younger twin sister by his side. However, it wasn't a happy day at all as Ash's twin sister was made into a guardian of Mew. That meant that Mew was around her at all times and that in, itself put her into danger.
Ash didn't want that for his sister. He wanted her to be happy and carefree. Instead, she was sad and careful. Mew was painfully naive and so, Ash didn't blame the pokemon for his sister's predicament.
His fists clinched on his sides and he couldn't help but to feel guilty. What's a hero anyway? He wondered...
