Sorry it took me so long to get this out, school and life caught up to me fast.

I was knocked out of my shock as the creature held an item out to me, a small pokeball looking device, but it was entirely black and white. It pressed the button that would normally release the pokemon inside, but instead, a small screen formed in front of me with a crackle, flickering weakly.

It showed a man standing in the room I was currently in, but this one was full of life, with people bustling everywhere, computers wiring to life, and in the distance, a faint muffled roar could be heard.

The man adjusted his flimsy wire glasses, and looked directly at the camera once more.

"My name is Dr. T.J Morrison, and I am head of the sacramentum project. If you are watching this tape, then the lab was compromised, and the subject immobilized. We are unsure to what has been causing the tremors we've been feeling the past few days, but we do know that they will get worse." The man paused to sigh. "I fear that they're a sign of a beast awakening, one so ancient, we can only hope we survive. That's why project sacramentum was built in the first place, to try and build a living weapon." The scene changed to a picture of the creature chained and injured, snapping at the humans approaching it, desperately trying to remove the muzzle.

"We've acquired the perfect specimen, S1A as we call it, formally known as Aerodactyl, this pokemon used to reign the sky in ancient times, before they died out with all the other prehistoric pokemon. We were able to find a slice of DNA is an old bone structure, and were able to recreate this long forgotten beast." The image again flashed to a new scene, this one of a giant hollowed piece of amber.

"If you are truly seeing this video now, and have either found S1A, or have just found the tape, then our fate rests in your hands now. Take S1A and use them to fight the rising Primordial. Leave the collar on their neck at all times, it forces S1A to follow your every command. Do not falter, all of the following information is now yours to protect. S1A's pokeball should be inside a compartment hidden in the amber. Good luck." The screen collapsed and the ball in the creat- no Aerodactyl's claws sparked before exploding into small pieces.

I gazed up at Aerodactyl and noticed the metal collar for the first time.  Why would they do this to a pokemon? How was this legal? Was it legal? Now I remembered the tattoo like imagine on my neck, and the way Aerodactyl had paused when noticing it.

"Do you know where this came from?" I asked in a whisper. The only reply I got was a tilted head, but I could've sworn they winked at me in addition. I let out a sigh and slumped to the floor. Why did the pokemon lead me here? Was I supposed to find Aerodactyl? Too many questions and not enough answers.

"Are you gonna attack me?" This time, Aerodactyl shook their head side to side.  Well there's one problem solved.

I pushed my self into a sitting position, and glanced at the metal collar once more. In the flickering light from the flashlight, I could make out S1A engraved onto the collar. In a flush of anger, I scowled and reached up for the collar. Aerodactyl just watched my through slitted eyes warily, but allowed me to proceed.

I was forced to stand up on shaky legs as I reached around Aerodactyl's horns and reached the collar, aligning my body parallel to theirs. I was terrified, but determined to finish my task. They were still frozen as I felt around the collar until I found a crack, and pressed the button beside it.

The collar fell to the floor with a thud, causing my hand to slip and land directly on Aerodactyl's neck. The dark purple skin felt like leather, but it was warm, weirdly so. Before I could pull away, Aerodactyl began to move, scooping up with the inside of a wing, forcing me to press to their side and follow them, grabbing the flashlight as we went.

They steered me back to the room I found them in, before finally stopping before the amber, causing me to stumble to the ground. I picked myself up, just as Aerodactyl  used a claw to pull something out of the amber, using the talons similar to the way we humans used our hands.

Slowly, the claws was put in front of my face, the talons peeling back to reveal a Nest ball. With a slight nudge from the other wing, I stepped forward and took the pokeball, looking at it in wonderment.

Glancing at Aerodactyl once more, I attacked the pokeball onto my belt and look back up straight at their face. The ancient pokemon seemed to be smiling at me. But I might just be assuming things.

I slowly reached my hand out , and Aerodactyl began to move their head forward, meeting my hand in the middle. Their head was much harder then the rest of their body, I could tell just from touch that their skull was built stronger then most pokemon.

The room suddenly began to shake, harder and harder, parts of the wall that was already deteriorating, were beginning to fall, crumbling beneath the earth's pressure. I was knocked to the ground once more, and Aerodactyl even stumbled slightly.

They whipped their head side to side before finally locking onto me. As the hidden lab collapsed, walls falling, the floor cracking from the seismic quakes, Aerodactyl lunged it's head and neck underneath me, causing my body to slam onto a nook in between their neck and wings.

In one sudden motion, Aerodactyl rose from the ground, causing me to clutch the spines on their neck. They burst from the room, dodging rocks and debris the best they could as they raced for the metal door, slamming through it to reveal the tunnel I had come from collapsing in on itself, along with the tunnels attached.

Aerodactyl lunged for the closest tunnel branch, one that was collapsing slowly compared to the others. The tunnel sharply fell the movement we rushed in however, sending Aerodactyl and myself tumbling into the darkness once more.

And that's a wrap for this chapter! I was tempted to go farther, but decided against it in the end. Hopefully I can update the story next month, but no promises. Can anyone guess what sacramentum means? (it does have a meaning)
