Cliffs Edge part 1

I don't know how long I've been running.
All I can hear is my breathing.
I can feel the heat of the sun.
I remember the day's I had fun.
But now they're all gone.
It all gets worse with every new dawn.
I hear them following so I pick up my speed.
They will never stop with need to feed.

I'm running through the woods to a clearing.
I can hear them coming closer with their growling.
I stop at the cliffs edge and look around.
And see nothing so I fall to my knees on the ground.
I'm surrounded on every side.
With no place for me to hide.
So as they go to grab me.
I fall back into the sea.
