Nowhere To Go part 1

The bar's blocked the light from my window.
I'm trapped with nowhere to go.
But at least I'm not alone.
I get to hear her voice on the phone.
I need to be like E.T. and go home soon.
But I'm stuck in this cell looking at a broken moon.
Hoping for the day.
I make it her way.

I put my hand on the glass in front of me.
As she does the same on the side that is free.
It's the first time I've seen her in what feels like years.
And I've never felt worse because I can't dry her tears.
She tells me she has a plan to get me out.
It's so perfect I could scream abd shout.
I just need to wait for her letters.
Because being with her, nothing else matters.
