I was getting to the point of falling asleep, Roni fell asleep an hour ago and its barely 11:00 pm. We just passed New Mexico and are now In Texas. My eyes where shutting when one of my second favorite songs came on (the one on top). I don't know why but I find the song catchy and creepy at the same time,I open my eyes again to see where we are. 'Dirt, dirt and more dirt' I sigh, "Mom are we there yet".

"No not yet honey" she looked tired, so did my dad.

I took off my headphones, stopped my music and put my phone away.

I couldn't fall asleep anymore, I start singing quite to myself 'casual affair'. I mean it's catchy, for me at least,

*time skip two and a half hours later*

I was getting bored so I woke up Roni to pass the time a bit. I do feel bad for waking her up she looks comfortable and peaceful.

"Roni wake up."

"What is it? What time is it?" She groaned

"Sorry, it's just I'm bored and I can't go to sleep I guess I lost it."

"Well can we at least talk about something"

"No duh, but what."

I look out the window and see a grass field with cows, and I don't mean four cows, there where about 8-10 of them.

All of a sudden Roni started screaming, saying something I couldn't understand while pointing to the front window. I turn towards the window and see a cow casually walking across the street. My dad couldn't hit the breaks on time and we slammed into the cow.

I open my eyes, my vision is blurry I look around and I see our car busted. Our front window was full of blood, my window and Ronis window were shattered. My vision goes back to normal and I see I had glass shattered on my thighs, I look next to me to check on Veronica, she had glass on her hair and on her thighs as well. She had some blood on her arm to.

I jolted up and felt a pain on my left tigh, there was a huge blood stain forming, I tried moving but couldn't, I was still buckled up. I unbuckled the seatbelt and moved a little.

"Roni, Roni please wake up"

Nothing

"Veronica! please wake up"

I felt tears start to form into my eyes, suddenly she started to shift around in the seat.

"Mhhm what happen?" She groaned.

"We hit a cow, and the car is fucked up." I say unbuckling her.

"What about your parents"

'I forgot about my parents, what happened to them!'

I turn to face the front, I couldn't believe the image in front of me. My parents where full of blood, eighter it's there's or cow blood. I shifted to the front, I tried looking for a pulse on my mom, nothing, I next tried my dad, nothing as well.

I wanted to scream, I wanted this to be a dream, a nightmare, to just wake up to my parents waking me up, telling me it's a bad dream and that we are just about to leave for Texas. I want to wake up to me and Roni laughing and in school or at the mall. But no it's not a dream nor a nightmare, it's real life.

I was shaken by Roni all of a sudden.

"Hey, hey look at me we have to get out of here and find help."

So the underline quotes its Elizabeth talking while the normal quotes are Veronica talking. Also the 'this type of quote' is when some one is thinking.
