I walked over to the lake after Cassandra's "little" lecture. When I looked down into the lake fish were frozen with it. It looked as though it was animated. I walked over the bridge to have a better view of it. The bridge was slick and I slipped with every step I took. I grasped the edge so I wouldn't crack open my head. Even the edge was slick, so it wasn't much of a help. I lifted myself up to see over the edge to see the the lake better at a different perspective. "Janice" called a way too familiar voice. It was my little brother, Teddy Tergey. I unwillingly looked back to face him. He was 18. I am two months older than him. It feels good to have accomplished that. I guess it isn't much of an accomplishment. Once Teddy saw me struggling he smirked. I looked away. He is always best at everything and I am sick of it. He quickly walked over and rearranged my stance so I wouldn't slip. I grew disgusted with him. Did I mention he is also a huge bragger? I fell and slid back to the icy grass. The grass froze my hands. I got up with a purple face with red blurred with it. I looked back at the lake and sadly walked home. Cassandra swooped by unexpectedly and made a smile on my face. That is mainly why she is my best friend. I looked back at the lake one last time and smiled. Even if Teddy is annoying we are family. He is okay I guess. I love nature.
