My Two Year Mistake

Chapter 14

I hope you all like this and I hope this keeps my friend from bugging me about uploading. It's really annoying but I love her anyways. So here's the chapter ---->

Cam POV

It's been 4 days and even though I really miss Brennon I can't help but admit that Tanner is kind of fun. We played a lot of games and I actually had a little bit of fun. I wasn't aloud to be out of his site so it kind of sucked. It was really creepy when I had to use the bathroom or shower because he would stand in the bathroom. So far he hasn't tried to have sex with me which was good but he did insist that we sleep in the same bed.

I was hoping that today would be the day I got to call Brennon. Now that I knew we were mates it was even harder to be away from him. It was still morning so I had all day to convince him to let me call. I got out of bed and looked down at him. He was asleep but he had a rope that connected me and him and it was only a few feet. I gave it a tug and he jumped up immediately on the other side of the bed, causing me to fly onto the bed.

"What the heck? That really hurt" I said as I sat up in the bed.

"Sorry. You kind of scared me there for a second." He said as he rubbed the back of his neck. "What did you need?" He asked.

"Well I have to pee and I am kind of hungry so I also wanted to go make breakfast."

"OK. Let's go." He said as he tugged on the rope and started walking to the bathroom. I got up as fast as I could and followed him. He took the rope off and turned toward the door, giving me some privacy while I peed. When I was done I washed my hands and we left the bathroom. We walked downstairs and into the kitchen. I grabbed some stuff out of the fridge and started making breakfast.

"So I was wondering if maybe I could call my dad today?" I asked nonchalantly.

"Are you ready to tell them you're staying with me?" He asked, anger in his voice. I sighed and turned to look at him.

"Yeah." I lied, " I am having a lot of fun with you and I think I could get used to being here with you. I miss you as a friend and I'm really getting used to sleeping with you." I lied to him. I felt like I wanted to throw up. Ann was mad at me for saying things like that to someone other then Brennon but I knew it was the only way I was going to be able to talk to Brennon.

I seemed to work because Tanner left the room and came back in with a phone. He leaned against the counter and dialed a number. After 2 rings someone answered. "Hey I'm looking for Roland, he there?" Tanner asked nicely.

"Yeah hold on." The guy on the other line said before yelling for my dad.

"Hello?" I heard my dad say.

"Hey. There is someone here to talk to you." Tanner said before handing me the phone.

"Hey dad." I said, "How are you?"

"Cam?! Oh thank god you're OK. Has he done anything, are you all right?" My dad asked sounding really worried.

"Yeah I'm fine and no he hasn't done anything. He's actually being really nice." I told him.

"What? But he kidna.." He was cut off and I listened for a second before I heard my mates voiced.

"Cam? Are you OK? I miss you so much. I swear when I get my hands on him....." He said trailing off.

"Brennon calm down. I'm fine and he hasn't done anything. We have just been hanging out around his house." I said trying to calm him down. 

"I'm coming to get you Cam, just hang in there." Brennon said reassuringly. I heard Tanner growl and I looked up at him, I had forgotten he was in the room.
