The day She learnt his name

I woke up bright and early like i always did but in an even brighter mood .It was no surprise i was jolly most of the time it was a habit of mine and i hated being sad so happy was a mood all day.

I started off by cleaning the house because my mother would throw a fit if she found her house  caked in dirt and the fact that i hated having to clean up later in the day because i got so lazy.

My neighbour Sara lee and i always competed with our playlists .She was a white girl that lived next  door.'The typical loud neighbours who irritated the  life out of you' is what i like to call them ,ohh lets not forget  her loud friends, gosh they drove  me crazy.

We were both  playing Take me to church by (i literally forgot the artist's  name) but it was one hell of a blast ,volumes high and neither  backing out until one  silently withdrew.

As i finished sweeping the last of the rooms my phone jerked me out of my  daze

*phone ringing *

I didn't  want to seem too eager so i  let it ring for a while then after clearing my throat i mastered what i thought to be my sexiest voice.

"Hey there stranger" as i laughed inwardly

"Hey beautiful" he said making me swoon

"How are you " i said trying to sound as composed as possible

"I'm better now and yourself"

"Im quite alright. So to what do i owe the pleasure sir?"

"Well i really thought i could keep this little game going on for much longer but i can't. So  how about we meet at the mall for a movie today and we get to know each other better?"

"Ummm... i don't really know you and you could be a serial killer for all i know but truth is i really would love to hang out..." i said hinting  that i hadn't finished my sentence

"But?"he said urging  me to go on

"But i have things to do and  i can't  make it today" i let out a breath i didnt know i was holding

The truth is i was really broke  and i didn't  want to meet a complete stranger all alone and what if he was ugly and  looked like the Grinch or worse he had rotten teeth but it seems he wasn't done persuading  me.

"Wow !So you  don't  like me?" he mocked in a fake hurt voice.

"Well i don't  remember saying i liked you" I chuckled

"You  didn't have to Princess i know you do" he added cockily

I had no reply for that so i stayed quiet

"Princess?" He offered

"Hmmmm?" I said breaking out of my reverie

"You still there" mysterious  guy said

"Y-Yes ,Yes  I am"

"Where you thinking of the pet name i gave you" he asked seemingly  sounding cockier than ever

"N-Noo Nooooo ,of  course not  God you're  so full of yourself Mr" i rolled my eyes while saying this
