It was now lunch time, and I was standing in lunch line number 1, waiting for Bahja and Bre. It's normal that I'm the first person here out of us three, because of the fact that my class is closer to the lunch room, but it's not normal for them to be this late. Since getting pizza everyday this past week because the other food lines wasn't serving anything I was willing to actually eat, I'm giving up the pizza line for a good minute. Now, I'm in the salad bar line, salad and cold ready to eat foods such as: sub sandwiches, fruit salad, pastas and etc. are all sold in this line. This is Bre's favorite line, girl loves her some Ceasar salad.
"Aye wassup nigga." I heard a voice yell behind me. I wasn't too interested in seeing who it was so I kept my face in my phone, until. "Hey, my nigga Brandon. Wassup homie." I instantly looked back, seeing Brandon walking up closer and closer to me. I waved shyly at him, because I thought he was looking at me at the moment, but my fantasy I was having of him walking in slow motion, cut short when the nigga bumped into me and cut me in line. This boy got me fucked up. "Umm excuse me." I lightly tapped his shoulder. The moment I feel disrespected is the moment when all of my shyness goes away. I bet your saying "All he did was cut, what's the deal? People do it all the time." No, it is a big deal. I'm going to be bias about it for a second, let me explain. If it was a female, I would not be mad at all. But considering the fact it is a male individual pisses me off. What happened to the manners, and gentle souls we used to have? Men should have the common courtesy not to cut a woman in line. And Brandon didn't just cut me in line, he bumped into me AND did not say excuse me. If he would've said excuse me, maybe I would still be having my fantasy.
TIP #101 for Boys/Men: Never cut a girl in a line without permission. If you do, take precaution in your movement and don't bump into her, trying to get the last piece of chicken, and lastly, at least say excuse me pretty lady or something. Damn, it's a shame that some women are more of a gentleman than a man will ever be. And that's just a tip, from me to you.
He turned around and looked at me. "Wassup." He said. "You just cut me in line." I stated the obvious. "I know, and if it makes you feel any better, I didn't just cut you, I cut all them people behind you as well. It ain't that serious girl, don't get your panties in a bunch." He said before turning back around, talking to his friends. "It wouldn't have been so bad if you wouldn't have hit me in the fucking shoulder." I called out. "At least say excuse me, or are you too cool to respect a female?" I said loud enough to earn a few 'oohs' from people around. I seen him throw his head down and groan and let out a deep sigh before turning around slowly, making sure to stomp both of his feet as he planted them on the ground and bent down to my level. "Sorry. Better?" He inserted a devilish smile. "I didn't feel the sympathy in that. That apology was so sarcastic." I scoffed. "I'm glad you noticed." He patted my head before turning back around. My gosh he's such an asshole, I thought he was humble. "Hey girl!" Bre said, coming next to me. See she can cut me, because this my chick. "Ooo what's wrong?" She asked when she noticed I didn't respond to her greeting. I guess the tense look on my face gives it away also. "Brandon is an asshole. He cut me in line and everything." "Zonnique it's not that serious." She sighed. "He has no manners, he didn't even say excuse me when he bumped my shoulder hard as fuck." "So what are you gonna do about it?" She asked. "I already tried but he started being a prick." I crossed my arms and moved up in line. "Brandon." She tapped is shoulder. He rolled his eyes but fixed himself when he noticed it was Bre and not me. "Wassup?" He greeted with a smile. "Hey, do you mind if my friend gets her spot back. She has a thing with lines." She asked of him, nicely. "I didn't think it was that serious but aight man." He moved behind me and stood there. "Until you started being rude about it." I added. "Sorry, she could be a....bitc-" "Bre.." "Sorry." She giggled. "So Bre, you going on the field trip today?" He asked. "You know it! I always wanted to go camping, especially with my friends." She responded. "Hey ya'll!" Johnna walked up to us. "Wassup Girl." Bre and I said at the same time. "Hey Johnie, you seen Bahj?" I asked her. "Uhh yea, we split ways, I told her I'll meet up with her over here but her and Niko were at her locker talking and stuff." She said. "What were they talking about?" Bre asked scrunching her eyebrows in curiosity. "I don't even know, but I know they was flirting. I think my brother likes her. OMG speaking of, you know they kissed?!" She exclaimed. "The fuck? When was this?" Zonnique asked. "Last class I believe. She just told me while was walking down the hall before Niko stopped her cause wanted to holla at her real quick." "Damn, you not trying to take my best friend away from me are you?" Zonnique asked Johnna while chuckling. "Of course not, I know how close ya'll are. She talks about you a lot." She said. "Good, cause I'll kick your ass." Zonnique said with more seriousness which made Johnna's smiling face turn confused. "Girl I'm just fucking with yah." Zonnique busted out with laughter which made Johnna pick up her smile again. "Oh girl, don't play with me like that." She said.
