Sitting in a dark room,
Realizing that our doors had been shut.
Put my guard down, and showed you who I truly was.
Every word I believed.
Thank you for showing me who you are, beautiful angel
Thank you for showing me that all the "what if's" in my head were true.
Promised me you were different.
Promised to take the pain away.
Promised me that all my what if's would disappear.
For being what you promised me you weren't
One of them.
All for empty promises and false intensions.
Love will forever be something I read in books.
She kept her promise and lived her life.
However,
There will always be something they keep doing,
Broken Promises.
