"How long have I been out ?" struggling to get the words out of my bruised mouth .

"It's been 2 days" .

"You were seriously hurt but you'll make a speedy recovery in no time". The nurse had said but hesitated.

A Few minutes later a doctor walked in with a concern look on his face.

"I'm doctor fill I'm here to speak to you about your injuries"

"You have few broken ribs"

"A serious head concretion"

"And a fractured jaw "

" we took you in for sugary because you had lost a lot of blood."

" as we were operating we found blood in your brain . We managed to control the bleeding "

Looking straight at him, I still hadn't said a word .

"Is it okay if I lift up your shirt so i can take a look at you.? "

I nodded trying to get up but groaned in pain.

he took about 2 minutes looking at me and writing notes. For some reason I felt light headed and the room began to spin around , my eye lids becoming heavier. Finding it hard to breath . I felt my lungs shutting down

Trying my hardest to stay awake but I couldn't I felt hopeless and tired so I just gave in .

"Hi I'm here to see Y/N "

"Room 23"

"Thanks" walking straight to the room only to find a crash cart and doctors running into the room .

Running as fast as I could to the door . Seeing her laying there as they tried to recover her .

"Please ma'am you need to give us space . We are doing everything we can ." A nurse said moving me out of the way as they took Y/N Into the emergency room.

4 hours later ..

My head in my hands . My elbows on my knees . My back against the wall . If only I had gotten the phone to Y/N in time . None of this would have happen.

"Babe " a soft voice said coming from the left . A hand on my shoulder only to find it was Lauren.

"Lauren.. what .. are you doing here "

"You are my girlfriend Camila I heard what had happen and I wanted to make sure you were okay ." As she hugged me . Lauren's arms where the one place I actually felt safe.

We both sat on the floor with our backs against the wall . I had my head on Lauren's shoulder while she had her arms around my waist.

"Camila ? "

"What are you doing here" ?

"I never knew you were friends with Y/N"

"She has no one Lauren."

"I've seen what she's been through "

"How much can someone take before it's to much and ..to ..late ?"

"No one deserves to be alone."

I yelled out , holding back the tears from falling . But failed .

"La.." Before getting interrupted by a small lady

"She's awake you can see her now "

Before I could do anything Lauren grabbed my hand and pulled me into a hug whispering "you're not alone " in my ear and walked with my to Y/N room .
