Chapter 14

JASMINE'S POV

It has been 2 days since Yamilla started avoiding me. Ughhh! It's all my fault, I shouldn't have told her those things and I should've trusted her. For god's sake she's my BESTFRIEND. Ang crazy ko naman kasi for telling her that.

Hayyy. Papunta na ako sa school dala ang isang galon ng ice cream na vanilla flavor. Yup, isang galon talaga at ngayon ko na talaga siya kakausapin. I think it's time namn kasi enough naman yata yung two days diba?

Nakadating ako sa school ng maaga and dumeretso ako sa garden, I think she's there.

 While I was walking I saw Lea and Oliver talking. Hmm, I didn't know that they actually talk. I'll ask Lea later 'cause right now I have an angry bestfriend to take care of.

I got to the garden and then I saw her reading books again. A fact about Yamilla is that she loves to read novels, books or any stories that involves comedy, romance, a little bit of action and misery. Yeah, she likes to read stories that is about heartbreaks and well, yeah, heartbreaks. And then she suddenly cries and tells me all about it. Hayy, I need to fix this problem, ASAP!

I approached her slowly while putting the galon of ice cream at my back. I standed in front of her and cleared my throat so that she can notice me because another fact about her is that she doesn't notice people when she's reading, it's like she's in a different world and you have to do something to catch her attention. 

She slowly lift her head and when I saw her face it was full of tears, she suddenly hugged me and just cried on my shoulder. Hayy, she's reading a novel and it's full of heartbraking scenes again.

"You're reading a hearttbraking scene again, aren't you?" I asked her and she nodded in response.

"Hayy. You should stop doing that, you may run out of tears by now as we speak." She just laughed and said,

"I can't help it! It's like my hobby now, plus, it's like you're the character in the story and experiencing these stuffs would be painful but atleast we can learn a lesson. And that's why I read these kind of genres because through these, I can learn some things that I can apply in real life." She said while wiping her tears with her hanky.

"Okay, okay. Oh by the way, I bought you a galon of ice cream as a peace offering." I said.

"Is it a vanilla flavor?" I nodded.

"Yey! Give it to me!" She said, I handed the spoon and the ice cream. She opened it and started eating. 

"Hey! Slow down, you might choke!" i said but she just smiled and started eating again.

"So, Yami. I'm sorry! I'm sorry about everything, about what I told you last time, about how I acted and about not telling you about it earlier. I'm sorry!"
