CM Punk's POV

"Where were you?" I asked when I saw Taylor packing my bag when I got back to my locker room.

"I'm not attached to your hip you know. But if you must know, I was… about." She answered glancing over her shoulder to smirk at me.

"About where?" I asked pulling a sweatshirt over my head.

"I hung out with a few of the guys and gals. I haven't been around for a while remember?"

"You should've told me. Why didn't you tell me?" I asked taking the packed bag from her hand and leading us out the locker room. My back was sure and I didn't feel like sleeping on the bus. I didn't need to be in the next state till Wednesday anyway so there was no rush. Besides, I wanted to spend some time with my girlfriend.

"Why didn't I tell you?" She repeated with a laughter to her tone and I knew she was mocking me.

"Yes, Tay, why didn't you tell me where you were going? I was looking for you."

"Well, given you were in the middle of a match, I couldn't necessarily tell you where I was. Don't get your panties in a twist best in the world. It wasn't like I was gonna leave you or something." She asked opening the door and walking into the parking lot. "Where's the bus?" She asked looking around the parking lot.

"I, uh… I let Kofi take it to the next state." I said scratching the back of my neck.

"Why?" She asked following me to the car I asked for when I was looking for her.

"I feel like staying in a hotel tonight. I'll… we'll just fly to the other state tomorrow."

"Oh." Was the only thing she said before opening the car and getting in. Maybe I was being paranoid but she seemed to be acting really weird. I couldn't help but think it had something to do with that conversation I had with AJ.

She wasn't even there; she doesn't even know you want to live together my mind tells me but I doesn't help the uneasy feeling I'm getting from her as I pull out the parking. This was going to be a long eight minute drive to the hotel.

I cleared my throat and looked across to her. "Uh, is that okay with you? I'm sorry I didn't ask about the hotel. I know how you feel about…"

"What? What's wrong with you? Stop freaking out Phil? I'm just tired. Chill." She says taking my hand and cutting me off.

"No, its just that… I don't want to think that I'm expecting anything. You know, because I got a hotel room. I mean, I could just get you a separate room. I-" I started rambling.

"Ugh, Phillip!" Taylor called running her hands through her hair. "Relax, God! What the hell? Did you hear something?" She asked as I pulled into the parking lot of the hotel.

"No, I just, don't want you to think I'm rushing anything because I'm not."

"You mean sex?" She asked loudly as we got up to the front desk. The guy behind it chuckled and I glared at him.

Taylor laughed and took my hand. "I mean, you got the room for sex right?" She giggled. She was doing this on purpose. She was willfully teasing me.

Two can play this game, sweetheart.

"Well, that was the main idea." I said letting go of hand and grabbing her behind. The gasp that escapes her lips makes me laugh softly.

The man behind the counter shifts uncomfortably on his feet as he looks between the two of us.

He could hide his eyes if we're making him uncomfortable.

"Phil." She whispered running a hand up my chest. "Is that all I'm hood for?" She asked closing the distance between us. She's so close to me that I notice a small scar under her left eye that I never really noticed before.

"No, that's not all you're good for. If you want I can have you sick my-"

She slapped a hand over my mouth just as the man behind the desk chokes. Our room key is lying on the counter but neither one of were paying any attention to him. "Phillip Jack Brooks!" She scolded as I squeezed her behind again. She swatted my hand away and I laughed before turning and picking up the room key.

"Come on babe, let's go upstairs before you blow things out of proportion." I said laughing again as she scowled and shook her head.

"My God, you're so nasty. If you think you were getting one of those tonight; you got a next thing coming." She retorted and I only laughed louder.

"Okay, stop before people think we're crazy." I said as we walked into the elevator. It was a little bit crowded so we were cramped up at the back.

"You want to stop now?" She asked turning and whispering in my ear. "You were the one who started it Phil. I'm only rising to the challenge."

I snorted to cover my laugh and an old woman turned around and frowned at me. I was in such a good mood that instead of telling her to go screwed herself I just stuck my tongue at her. Taylor giggled and slapped my chest.

"Phil!" She whined but her tone was too playful for me to take her seriously.

"I love you." I said smiling at her in an attempt to distract her so she won't make me apologize to the lady who didn't want me making sex jokes with my girlfriend.

"I love you too." She smiled squeezing my hand and resting her head on my shoulder.

Exactly.

She loved me.

Screw you AJ; I'll have her living with me in no time.
