"Pleeeaase?"
"No Wally, It's the same deal as Robin. Big ol' bats has ordered me to keep my awesome self a secret, so I can't take off the mask!"
"You can't even turn off the voice disguiser?"
"Nope!"

It's been like this for weeks. Ever since I joined the team under the alias Sparrow, Kid Flash has been nagging me 24/7. As much as I'd love to give up, who knows what kinds of hell I'd be in with the league? At least he doesn't flirt with me... That's about the only bonus here.

"I propose we play tag. If i can tag you at normal speed, you turn off the voice disguiser around me for a week. If you survive an hour of the game without being tagged, I'll leave you alone... For a week."
"Only a week?"
"Hey, curiosity doesn't just disappear ya know. It's just going to get worse, so I can't promise more than a week of silence."
"By normal speed, do you mean normal for you? Or normal for non-speedsters?"
"Non-speedsters. Do we have a deal or what?" He extends his arm, waiting for me to accept his stupid game. I hesitantly shake it, and we prepare for our own little war.

He starts at one end of the mountain, and I start at the other, to give me time to hide. He said no hiding in the air vents, so I said no tagging me when I've fallen over. Fair trade, I guess...
After pulling up a map of the mountain , I scout out the best possible hiding spot. It's an hour of silence, so I have to keep moving to entertain myself, but he shouldn't be able to intercept my pat-
"Hey gorgeous, did ya miss me?"
Oh goodness... Here he is with the flirting... I don't know why I thought I was safe.
"I miss the silence that comes in your absence, does that count?"
"Harsh, but It'll do." He says, with a grin spreading across his face.
"Now, are you going to run or can I just win right here and now?"
"No way, hosé!" I yell happily, and let off some smoke bombs. I sprint through the mountain until I come across the door into the library. Remembering the secret passage Artemis told me about, I duck in and frantically search for the right shelf. Upon hearing some light footsteps entering, I rummage even faster, fueled by my desire to not get my ass whooped by Batman. Finally finding the right book, I slide down the chute.
But naturally, I wasn't safe. Because there, at the bottom of the tunnel, was none other than Kid Trash.
"HOW are you everywhere? I thought we agreed on no superspeed?!"
"I haven't been using superspeed, it's much more complicated than that." He says with a smirk, while a second Wally walks into view. After drowning me in confusion for a few seconds, the copy de-transformed to reveal M'gann.
"You never said we could call for help! That's cheating!"
"Or not." Robin drops from the roof.
"Robin hacked the map you were planning with, we knew you'd come down here. The real me was in this very spot the whole time!" He finishes with a wide-armed gesture.
"I... had literally no idea that you were capable of scheming. Nice job, Kid Crash" I say with a half smirk.
"So, Sparrow... Because I defeated you with such an amazing plan, can I add to my reward?"
"You didn't win. I haven't been tagged yet!" I reply. Slowly backing away, I make a move to grapple back up the chute, but a certain yellow blur sweeps me off my feet. He kisses my forehead before I can protest, and looks my in the eye when he sets me down. He taps my shoulder, and speaks softly.
"Tag, you're it!"
I punch him in the shoulder, and turn off the voice disguiser as promised. M'gann levitates Robin out of the room, leaving me alone with Wally.
"You gonna keep telling me how great my plan was? I want to hear it in your actual voice"
"Pfft, like you created that whole plan. I'm 99% sure Rob or Miss M made the majority of that plan."
He completely ignores my comment.
"You sound just like I thought you would!"
"... How many times a week do you think about what my voice sounds like?"
"I'm not going to answer that. It's confidential information."
"Well so is my voice, but here we are."
"So if I share a few more secrets, will you tell me more things about yourself?"
"Maybe. Depends on what Batman says, I may very well be unable to speak to you ever again after this. Let's hope he doesn't pull a red hood on me, eh?"
"Until our next bet, then."
"Sure, why not?" I say with a smile. He returns it, and I grapple back up the tube.
Well, there goes my side bet with Artemis - I'm officially no longer Wally-free!
It is I, the disorganised author! Apologies for the incredibly late update, school is taking way more out of me than usual 😅
