This boy on my mind all the time like a record on a love song. His eyes light up the sky brighter than my heart. As we talked the more I felt in a swoon for him. I went on with my day as normal only with him next to me. We had every class together funny how that plays out.
"Emily! Wait up!!" Brent said calling down from the hallway. He walked past Jessica as she glared at me. She started to walk up behind him and to me. "Hey um you wanna go to the movies after school tomorrow?" He asked me.
Jessica walked up with her prissy walk and head held high. "Sorry handsome she's busy digging through trash." She said laughing. Her jokes and insults were as trashy as her sense of style. I started to walk off but he grabbed my arm. I turned back, Jessica looked angry as hell. "I think she's a perfectly beautiful girl..." He looked around as if he didn't mean to say his mind.
I looked at his eyes, he looked at me. He smiled my cheeks went rosy red. Man those eyes, those ocean blue eyes. Like a daze, I was caught in. He smiled. Jessica snarled and walked off. " Can I walk you home? " He asked nicely. "Sure.." I said back grabbing my books as he leads my way through the crowded hallways.
As we walked down the warm streets of Loganville, Georgia, Brent kept carrying on the conversation. Like he never wanted it to end. I didn't want it too though, his voice was a melody, his eyes were easy to get lost in. As we got close to my house I saw what made my days happier than anything.
I ran as fast as I could to hug the warm body in front of me. My mom finally home after a 6-month adventure. "Mom!" I said smiling. She smiled and hugged me tightly. "Hi honey."
