Give Me Love

Chapter 1

Finally, summer. My favorite time of the year. My time to do whatever I want whenever I want. I woke up to a very loud obnoxious beeping noise. I looked out my window to see a moving truck pull into the house next to me. Wow, someone finally bought that house. I've been wanting neighbors forever. I saw a family of 3, 1 parent and a girl around the age of 14 or 15 and a guy my age, 18ish. I got a lil exited.

I decided to get dressed and look semi decent. As I walked downstairs I heard my mom making breakfast and talking to my younger sister Bree. My dad left me and my mom when I was young.

"hi sweetie. I'm surprised you're up this early on your first day of summer" she said with a chuckle

"Oh that moving truck next door woke me up" I said in an annoyed tone

"Oh yeah, we should go over and meet our new neighbors sometime today" she said

"Sounds good" I answer back

I decided to go hang out in my room for awhile. I just turned on the tv and went on my phone. I was actually able to fall back asleep for a few hours but was woken up by my mom

"Grace, Bree, hurry come down here. Our new neighbors are here!" She screamed up the stairs

Oh god. I just woke up. I look like a wreck. I threw my hair up into a bun and straightened my clothes out and walked downstairs where everyone was at. Immediately I noticed a boy. A very cute one I may add. We met eyes as I came down the stairs. We smiled at each other.

"Well everyone. These are my daughters Grace and Bree" said my mom.

"Grace, Bree this is Mrs. Wilkins-"

"Oh god no please call my Lori" she interrupted as I shook her hand

"And this is my daughter Brooke and my son Sam" said Mrs.Wilkinson

I shot a smile at Brooke and Sam and as I looked over at Sam I locked eyes with him for a few seconds before I looked away.

"Well I have an idea" said my mom "how about we all get together tomorrow and have a little dinner over here. Say 6ish"

"Sounds great. We'll see you then" said Mrs.Wilkinson as they walked out the door.

"Wow they seem like such a nice family" said my mom

"Oh yeah for sure. I'm glad to have that family next door to me instead of some psychopath" I said with a smile

"So do you want to go shopping with me to get some food for the dinner tomorrow?"

"Sure" I said and grabbed my shoes and purse and we walked to the car

The whole time my mom kept asking me what she should get but all I could think about is Sam. The smile and the look he gave me when he first saw me.

Finally we were done shopping and went to get some dinner and then we went home. We cleaned the house a little bit and by then it was almost 9. I decided I would go watch a movie and go to bed. I was exited for tomorrow. I fell asleep thinking about it. I couldn't stop the tingly feeling I had.
