The Night After

Oh god why did I do that..

THE NIGHT BEFORE

"What time is this thing" Jay's mother asked.

She was refering to the party that she was attending with nine of her closest friends tonight. She hadn't seen them in months due to her family moving away, so tonight was her night to have fun and let lose with them.

"Six o'clock to eleven" She responded. Then they were on their way.

As they sat in traffic Jay thought what it would me like when she met up with everyone.

Will they care that I'm back?

Did they miss me at all?

Will we have fun?

What will we do?

Her thoughts were interrupted when they pulled up to the big Mediterranean house. She got out of the car after her father, who got out to walk her to the door. He knocked on the door and a small blond woman opened the door to welcome Jay in.

"Oh Jay is here!"

She walked into the house with a smile on her face to see six out of nine of her friends sitting in the living room playing games.

When they saw her they all welcomed her with a smile and invited her to sit with them.

It was a little awkward considering most of them haven't seen her in months so she just awkwardly sat on the floor.

After some time went by she got up off of the floor and sat on the couch between her friends Jean and Mitch. They were having a normal conversation until Mitch started to talk about the new girl he was interested in.

It bothered Jay but she didnt know why, so this was the moment when she realized she was gonna make a move on him tonight.

More time went by and it was working. Right now they were sitting on thr roof of the house playing Truth or Dare.

Right now everyone had to say the top three people they would sleep with in the group.

When it came to Mitch's turn he didn't hesitate to say Jay's name first. At first she was suprised he answered so quickly, then she realized she could use this to her advantage.

As truth or dare continued someone mentioned that a kissing dare would be good. Thats when it really hit her.

Hell, I haven't kissed someone in a while. I should kiss him.

It was getting much much later in the night and half of them were still chilling on the roof while the rest were laying down in the back yard.

The best way Jay could think of to flirt with Mitch was to be cute with him.

Braid his hair, laugh at his jokes, talk to him, touch him, put her head on his shoulder, and even take his phone so he would touch her.

It even got to a point where she put the phone in her back pocket and he reached around her and touched her butt while pulling it ouf if her pocket.

The whole thing was surreal, they were friends they had been friend for two years.

Then. She got the message.

On the way be there in about 15 minutes.

That was when time seemed to speed up. It was now or never.

She kept her flirting going and he was even doing it too at this time. He even picked her up bridal style and walked her over to sit down.

Everyone around them knew what was going on too and was even encouraging it. Some even getting tired that they hadn't done it yet.

It was this long drawn out back and fourth. Back and forth. Of will they won't they. It was getting to everyone around them.

And then.

A knock at the door.

Jay stared to panic she had olny kissed one other guy in her life so this was going to be a fun new experience.

Mitch walked over to the side of the house unbeknownst to Jay until he called her name. She walked over to him and he grabbed her and pulled her closer, faces moving closer until their lips met in a fast sloppy kiss. It may have been short but it was full of raw passion.

It was truly suprising Jay thought it was going to be a simple couple pecks but no Mitch had other ideas.

But the moment was soon over. It was all over.

She went back gathered herself and hugged all of her friends goodbye one at a time.

Then she went back to Mitch and gave him one last kiss on his neck before she walked away.

The shock from the kiss and the goodbyes was starting to settle until she got two messages that made her gasp in horror at the sudden realization..

T: Nick can't find out about this.

M: I have to tell Nick about this.

I just kissed my ex boyfriend's
best friend...
