I woke up to a new smell, but it was one that I liked. I opened my eyes and sat up. David's room. Oh yeah huh. I looked around smiling just to myself. I flipped over the sheets off of me and got up and stretched. I looked down at what I was wearing, David's sweatshirt. It even smells like him. I walked out the room and into the living room. I saw David laying down on the couch still sleeping. He was so adorable. I went on the other side of the couch by his feet and began scrolling through my phone. After about 5 minutes he started squirming and finally woke up. I looked at him, "Oh sorry did I wake you?"
"Oh no your fine. I needed to wake up anyway."
"So I did wake you up."
"Yeah a bit." We both chuckled.
I put down my phone and clutched my head.
"Hey are you okay?" he asked.
"Yeah my head just hurts."
"ooo I have something that helps with that." He got up and went to the kitchen and looked through the cabinets. He pulled out a pill bottle and shook out one. He grabbed a glass of water and handed me them both. I took it. It was already started to work.
"Thanks."
"No problem." I went back to sitting on the couch, scrolling through my phone. I got a text notification on my phone. It's from my best friend Madison.

I need to get my extra room ready. I turned off my phone and faced david who was editing the footage from last night. "Hey can you give me a ride to my house?" I asked giving him the sweetest smile I could produce.
"Yea sure." he smiled and closed his laptop.
He grabbed his keys from the counter and we both got in the car. He turned on the radio and we both looked at each other and smirked. We sang "September" by Earth, Wind, and Fire at the top of our lungs. We rolled down the windows and let the breeze brush against our faces. We got a few weird glances from strangers, but we didn't care, we still sang our hearts out.
It was the best 10 minutes of my life.
