Loli Café

Looked like any ordinary café from the outside. Tables, chairs, coffee machines,  advertisements, this place was just your usually establishment. I was never really a big fan of cafés. It was just another place where people would mistaken me as a loli. I once ordered at a café, and when the guy at the counter served me my drink, I saw his phone number written on the side on my latte. I obviously did not call the number. A certain cat brought me to their local to enjoy maybe a cake or two before we headed over to her house. But now, it looks like that might be a little too much to asked for. And my opinion on cafés still stands.

Both of them ran to the counter and went in the back door where the screaming was coming from. I guessing that's probably a kitchen or a break room. I was still frozen in place taking in what Neko-chan just asked me.

Did you happen to catch what time we left?

Why would time be important right now? And moreover, what's going on in the behind that door?

I was still standing outside of the café in front of the entrance. I still didn't get what was happening. All I knew is that I was alone right now.

IIIITTTTTT HUUUUURRTTSSSSSS

Cries echoes from the back door again. It was the same voice from the 'manager' as Kanjo-chan called her. The anxiety was getting to me. My hands where shaking and so where my legs. This familiar feeling I've felt my whole life that I thought wouldn't follow me here. I guess there's no point in standing here forever. At that moment, my body finally started to move and I made my way over to the back door. The café was fairly dark with the only light source being that lights from outside and from the backdoor. With the light being so dim, I accidentally step on something; something wet and sticky. I was the red substance that was coming from the door. I expected a scent more revolting, but it was...

Strawberry?

"Kanjo-chan, it's such a waste. WAAAH!" I heard the manager cried out.

I opened the door and what I saw filled me with relief. There I saw a little girl in a café uniform with a pink apron, kneeling on puddle of strawberry jam and wiping the tears off her blue eyes. She looked like she dived into a pool of jam. There was an bucket next to her with a little bit of jam in it. Her long light gray hair was soaked in it. I starting to see a trend here, yet again this girl is also very cute. Kanjo-chan was looking at her with disappointment and Neko-chan was trying to contain her laughter towards the manager.

"I'm sorry, Kanjo-chan. I didn't mean for this to happen." The manager apologized.

Kanjo-chan sighed. "Manager, try to be a little more careful next time with our ingredients."

"I was just t-trying to get some more jam for my strawberry c-cake recipe. The bucket was a little toooooooo high for me to reach. I was going to ask you to get it for me, but you were still tending to the people knocking outside. So I decided to get it myself. B-but when  I tried to reach for it, it dropped on my head and now I'm covered in delicious jam," She picked up the bucket next to her. "Such a wasteeeee! Waaaahhhhh!"

She started crying again and Neko-chan couldn't hold her laughter any longer.

"Bwahahahaha! Usagi-san, you're such clumsy girl." Neko-chan wiped a tear of joy from her eye. "Now, I would like to order one cake, nyah!"

"Hold it right there." Kanjo-chan cut Neko-chan off. "Didn't I tell you that we're closed?"

"And yet, I'm inside your café. I'm also a customer and I demand a cake."
