Chapter Nine- Best Friends?

↮ Sky's POV ↮

  I woke up startled from my nightmares

  I breathed deeply then I remembered what happened last night when father came to my room

   I look at my hands, "He cares?" I asked myself

    I got up and looked in the mirror to see my hazel eyes flecked with budder. I like it.

   But good things always come to an end. Every year on my birthday I get atleast one new power and my eyes gets more buddery until they become like father's.

   I quickly got ready for the day and went downstairs down the elegant staircase

   "Father, Uncle Nox" I bowed and got in my seat next to Seto

   When the food is served we started eating, It was silent until father asked "Sky, is there something wrong you have been staring at me and playing with your food for the last 5 minuted. What? still bothered with my eyes?" he asked with an eyebrow raised in an amused expression

   I blushed a bit and shook my head "Sorry father, I did not notice I was staring at you and no your eyes do not bother me anymore. I was just, thinking"

   "Of what?" Seto asked munching on his food

   "What our young sorcerer, Seto just said, What are you thinking of so much about Sky?"

   "Um, like" I wrecked my brain for an excuse "What new powers are awaiting for me when I grow older" I said

   "Ah, yes. Patience my son, all good cones to those who wait" I faked a smile and nodded and start eating

   When we were done eating,

  "Sky, remember not to blow up the castle, again" Father said sternly

   Unlike any normal people. Herobrine, my father could just scare you by just looking at you.

   Imagine if he narrows his eyes on you and speak to you with no emotion at all.

   "Y-yes father" I stuttered imagining all those horrible things he would done to me if I did not abide his rules

   Then, with a blink of an eye both him and uncle Nox was gone

    "Im going to the library call me if you need me" I nodded and wave my hands as he walks away thinking why am I acting so nervous

   I got to the kitchen and pushed open the double doors with a bit of my powers since I still dont have enough strength to push two large iron doors

   When the door open everyone in the room freezez and look over to me

   "Y-young master, B-brine. What could we help you with?" said a zombie hybrid fear evident in his eyes

   "I would like a plate of porkchops and a couple of bread sent into my room" I said politely yet demandingly

   They nodded and got to work right away and I grabbed a carrot of a tray and munched on it and I walked out of the doors up to my room and played with some toy action figures while waiting for the food to arrive in my room

   I got bored so I test out my fire powers and right there where the zombie hybrid comes through the door I blasted the fire right next to him only a couple of inches away from his face

   He was shakin fearfully, "H-here is y-your food you have re-requested y-young master" he said trying to put the obsidian tray as gently as he could, bowed and ran off

   "Oops" I muttered under my breath

  I grabbed a plate and filled it with three porkchops and two bread and wandered in the castle trying to find a specific room.

   I finally found it and push the levers in the right order amd code and walked in the room

   "S-sky?" The boy asked

I nodded and sat infront of him and I pushed the plate to him and his eyes widen in glee and happily munched down on the food. I have come to know he really enjoys porkchop

   He know not to question why did I come here in the day as I usually cake in the night and accepts the company

   Afyer he finished eating he looked at me and burped loudly

   We stared at each other for a few seconds and started laughing loudly. the walls were sound proof so we didnt care and we kept on laughing for a minute or two and we toke a deep breath as I pulled out a box of cards

   "Blockomagic?" I asked and he nodded so we started playing

  "Fiesh!" I screamed at him since he always got the fish card

    He slapped me lightly with the fish card "fiesh," he said seriously in a weird deep voice and we broke out to another fit of laughter

    "You know, you still havnt told me who is your father" He said quietly placing another attack card

  I frowned put a stronger attack card. "I dont think it is that important" I replied

  He just nodded. The truth was I was scared to tell him. I know alot of people are afraid of my father and I dont wanna loose a friend just becayse hes scared of my dad

  We played more still it was almost night time

  I giggled at what Ty said. Then there was silence "You know, your the first ever best friend I ever had"

  "Dont you have any other friends?" He asked curiously

  I shook my head, "I have one.. But hes not really a best friend more like a good friend" I said sadly

    "You should really meet my friends one day they are amazing" He said happily then he stopped as if remembering where he was

   "Maybe, one day" I smiled and we continued to play and talk more
