In love with Mr Casanova

She was full with ecstasy as she watch her reflection in the full length mirror.
Today is a wonderful day in the history of wonders.
She recalled what her father used to say 'hard work truly pays at the end'
Well Indeed it does. she shakes her head vigorously as if in agreement with her thoughts.

She remembered all the hard work, all the patients, all the waiting, Finally he is agreeing to meet.

They had a commonly unique encounter, at the net, at the popular website called Facebook.

first week they were just  cyber friends, shy and formal then they became social friends, nice and friendly then friends, joking and confiding.
they exchanged phone numbers before they disclosed their real names.

Soon they took it to the next level he told stories and she laughed she believed he was the funniest guy
They will stay late at night talking to each other.

Soon she believed he is the one. She will caught herself at the city mall window shopping for wedding souvenir, or at an online fashion page looking at weeding dresses
it was when she began savouring baby stores that she concluded she was in love.

But she never told him, Since it wasn't how they do it in novels or in movies. They took it very seriously and it must be confessed in person. Mostly during an outdoor dates at the heroin's favourite place usually at a waterfall watching the sun set or on a rooftop watching the beautiful city.

Meanwhile Since then she had pursuded him to meet. It was a hard task but she had been patient and waited Implying her father's will.

'hardwork truly pays'

She grinned widely at the mirror, It take her the whole world not to explode with joy.

'hey sweety, will yoy eat before going ' her mom called from behind the door.

'oh you are already ready' she said entering the room.

She just beemed in reply.

'wow, you are really happy' her mom suggested.

'A-ha.... You know what mom, he made reservation for us at litxies' her voice was laced with so much enthusiasm.

'wow... he must really like you' her mom encouraged.

She sighed with dreamy eyes.' I should get going mom'

'oh.No.No.no... Darling am not a makeup artist for nothing letting my girl go on a date at 'litxies' like that'

••••••

Litxies diner was one of the most prestigious restaurant in town It's specialize with the finest interior decorations and French salad.
She like many dominating middle class residents have never had the privilege of dining here before.

But soon that and many more are about to change, initially she had no idea she will meet a guy that could afford luxuries so tonight is going to reveal more interesting mysteries she hadn't the ideas before."this is the part where we got to know each other more" she told herself.

she was so delighted this is happening, the handsome boy across from her, the man of her dreams.the way he was smiling told her mom did a fantastic job on her.

'should we order yet' he asked.

'yes please' He signailed for a waitress.

'oh if it wasnt the famous player' some elegant long legged blonde wearing an even more elegant royal blue cocktail dress exclaimed as she paraded graciously to their table her voice slurring with pure flirt.

Well he said he played football

'whoa, pinky... Whatsup' his voice mirroring the coquet.

They chatted for sometime as she watched numbly, they must be really close friends she thought.

'you should hook me up again with her' he was saying.

'nop darling, my friend did not take it lenient the other time'

'oh come on, i will handle the rest'

A football player, not really

She cleared her throat to made her self notice.
'wow, I see you got company already' the supposed friend said nodding at her in such a way She decided right away she didn't like her

Apparently maybe it wasn't just a football player there was something else he plays something she will dearly hate to admit.

The famous date went on but she wasn't really enjoying it anymore that lady had ruined her entire mood and the worst part was that he didn't even notice rather he was so busy bragging about his childhood.

'in middle school my mom had to go to the teacher and request him to make me sit in the front sit seat so I could see the board'

'I was so small but I was the smartest kid then you know '

'you know I was the class rep in highschool'

'three colleges gave me free schoolarship you know'

'I have always been good with the ladies'

'I was such a legend'

He went on and on the whole time eventually her appetite was also ruined.

She got feed up before desert was served. 'I think I should be going' she declared. 'oh wait a sec' he gestured for her to sit back before he waved at a waiter.

At first she thought he had a suprise for her, It would be a necklace or bracelet like they do it on romantic dates on movies and novels.

only this time the heroin is bound for disappointment, for a moment her anticipation was wiped off.
it was neither a necklace nor a bracelet it was a piece of paper which also wasn't a poem or a lyric.

It was their bill.

'you know how girls loved to be independent now a days' he said casually noting some calculations.

'so what type of girl are you, the free or the strong, The strong ones normally pays the whole bill' he winked.

She went speechless 'what a gentleman' she thought.

••••••
Back home her mom asked how did it went.
'fabulous, it went fabulous'

That night she cried even in her sleep.

It was an experience she will never forget.

Dad also used to say 'don't ever be the foolish one'.

Hope you enjoy reading this story😉😉😉
I tried to add a little humour to it😂😂or so I assumed🙂 I guess a guy taking to an expensive date and afterwards telling that girls love being independent and should be allowed to pay the bills is hilarious.
Let me know what you will do if you find yourself in such situation😉
