The Army Returns

5. A Private Talk

Jason's POV

I didn't sleep well that night. Images of Storm taking her hood off kept flashing through my mind. She had looked exactly like Khione. But why was she, and would she be in the army? That along with a million other question's swirled around in my mind. I was up until, like, 7:00 in the morning, then I finally passed out from exhaustion. I awoke to Thalia screaming at me to wake up. I sat up groggily.

"C'mon it's time for breakfast." She said. I walked over to the dining pavilion and sat down at my table, but I just picked at my food, not feeling hungry. When breakfast was over I walked up to Storm.

"Uh hi, can I talk to you along in the woods?" I asked her. She seemed startled by my question, but still she answered. "Yes of course." She smiled, though since her mouth was the only visible part of her face, I wasn't unsure if it was kind or..... Something else. We walked deep into the woods until we Zeus's fist. Why we walked that far simply just to talk you may ask? Well we didn't want to be over herd.

I turned to look at her. "Why are you here?" I got strait to the point. She seemed both surprised and confused by this question. "What?" She asked.

"I saw you take off her hood last night." Even though I couldn't see them I was pretty sure her eyes widened. Then suddenly a black force field surrounded us. "What the-" I started but was cut off.

"It makes sure that anyone out side can't see or hear us." Storm said. I turned back to her and she had apparently took off her hood while I was examining the force field, because when I turned back, I once again saw a face I knew all to well. "It's so no one else can listen to this." She said.

"I suppose I have some explaining to do." She said.

Ginny's POV

Don't get me wrong it was great having Fred back but now you had to be on guard all the time cause, the Stoll brothers Fred and George had teamed up to pull a bunch of pranks. So you always had to be careful. As I was lost within my thoughts I didn't notice Harry sitting down next to me, at least not until he was shouting my name and waving his hand in front of my face.

"GINNY!!!" He shouted interrupting my thoughts.

"NINJA MONKEYS!!!" I shouted randomly. He looked at me. "What?" he asked. I blushed realizing what I'd just said. Sometimes when I'm deep in thought and someone scares me I shout out some random thing. "Nothing." I said.

"Okay then." He said. Then Annabeth walked up to us, she looked at me. "Why'd you just shout ninja monkeys at Harry?" Sh asked me looking confused.

"Um no reason." I said and if it was possible for me to blush any harder, I did. I could tell she was not satisfied with my answer, so, sighing with defeat, I explain super my embarrassing story to her and Harry. Ok well that might be a bit overly dramatic, but oh well you get the idea. I notice Jason and Storm walking out of the woods. Huh. I wonder what they were doing. Oh well it couldn't have been bad so I simply just ignored it. Annabeth then left me and Harry after getting her explanation. Hermione and Annabeth are so alike, to the point of it being kind of creepy. No wait not creepy, scary. Yeah that's the word I'm looking for. Scary. I turned my attention back to Harry.

"Oh yeah why'd you come over here?" I asked him. "Your here." He said simply. I smiled but then turned away to hide my blush. When I tuned back to him I meant to give him a small peck on the cheek but at the last second he turned so I ended up kissing him on the lips. Now normally I would have pulled away instantly and scolded him or something like that but, I was in a good mood today. So I let him kiss me. When he pulled away he smirked at me.

"Shut up." I said even though he hadn't said anything and my tone was play full. And I was smiling.

"What?" He said putting on an innocent face.

"Whatever." I sighed. "I give up." I said.

Storms POV

I sighed as I walked out of the woods. Jason and I then walked in opposite directions. Once he walked away I slipped back into the woods. I created a portal to a place only me and Chaos knew existed. He had shown it to me so I had a place I could go to be alone and clear my head. I walked through the portal and once again I saw the planet that had been abandoned long ago. Everyone that had lived here had moved to planet Chaos centres ago. Now the planet was covered in ice and snow. Yes I did do that. I always thought better in the cold. I felt better to. I took off my gloves (which were not to hide my powers they were just a part of my commanders uniform) and I stared at my hand. I put the gloves in my pocket. I started to allow ice to flicker from my hand. I smiled. I always liked the cold. I willed my wings to grow from my back. I flew around letting ice and snow shoot out of my hands. After about 5-10 minutes of this I decided to head back.

===========Time Laps===========

I went into the Chaos cabbing and plopped on my bed. The only reason I went into my cabbin last night looking like I normally do is cause no one else was there. Yeah not even the army knows who I really am. They also don't know that my code name is Storm cause I can easily create snow storms. They don't know one thing. Only me and Chaos know. And now Jason. I'll admit I was mad. I had kept this secret so well, worked so hard, done so much, only for him to ruin it. I herd footsteps, so I allowed my form to flicker, as I felt my featerd change. Yeah I did have my hood on but I wasn't going to risk it. Jason would be the last and only person (aside from me and Chaos of course) to find out. I would make sure of that if it's the last thing I do and I take my final breath doing it. The footsteps faded but I did not change back until the door to the cabin closed behind whoever it was.

Ok so I know it's kind of short but cut me some slack Ok.
