"Marina, are you okay?" Big sis just came back from a mission, and she was acting differently. She looked at me with wide eyes and crouched to my height.
"Nanami, I can't stay here. Don't tell anyone where I'm going." My eyes widened.
"W-What do you mean? Where are you going?!" She pulled me in for a hug and kissed my head.
"I'm going to the surface. I'll be in Inkopolis. Come to find me when you're ready." She let me go and bolted out of the room. I tried to run after her, but I was too weak. I ran into our room and cried myself to sleep.
The next day, I was questioned by the army. I knew how to bend truths pretty well, so they couldn't figure out I wasn't telling them everything. They let me go. Marina... Please come home.
