"Baby, there's something I need to tell you..." Yoongi rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly as he walked towards the girl.
"Just a second!" Joohyun dashed into her bedroom and called her best friend.
"Hello?"
"Wendy, he's going to do it! I knew it! He's going to propose to me!" She squealed excitedly.
"Really? That's amazing! Don't you think he should meet your parents first though and ask them for permission?"
"I guess so... Maybe I should make him wait until my birthday party."
"I think you should probably get permission from your parents first, you know how they are..."
"You're right. I'm going to go and talk to him. I'll see you later."
"Bye, Joohyun."
Joohyun hung up the phone and left her bedroom.
"Yoongi, before you say anything, I just want to say that I'd like you to meet my parents at my birthday party before making any big decisions."
Yoongi stared blankly at her. Did she know that he was trying to break up with her? Did she think that meeting her parents would change his mind?
"What do you think, babe?" She nudged the male's arm.
Yoongi sighed, not wanting to break the poor girl's heart right before her birthday. "Sure, I'll go." He immediately regretted his decision as the girl wrapped her arms around him tightly and kissed all over his face.
Yoongi didn't care that much for women anymore. They weren't exciting, weren't hot, weren't fun to be with. The relationship seemed to be too vanilla for Yoongi, too normal. He wanted to break the rules of society and try something new but felt trapped in Joohyun's tight, overly sweet grasp.
