It was getting late and Joohyun was starting to worry that Yoongi wasn't coming at all. The doorbell rang and she opened the door, praying that it was him. "You're here!" She squealed and jumped into his arms.
Yoongi almost fell over but managed to keep his balance.
"Are those for me?" She asked as she snatched a bouquet of flowers out of his hand.
"Uh, yeah." He messed around nervously with the buttons on the sleeves of his shirt and hoped that the night wouldn't last too long or there would at least be some alcohol to help him through it.

"Come in!" She said as she pulled him inside. "This is Mommy and Daddy." She pointed to her parents who stood anxiously in the kitchen, waiting to meet him.
"It's an honour to meet you both. You have a beautiful daughter." Yoongi bowed to the couple and hoped that it would be enough for them to see that he was a decent guy before he crushes their daughter's heart.
"It's nice to meet you, Yoongi. We've heard so much about you." Joohyun's mother smiled to be polite, whereas her father wasn't very impressed.
"Black, to a birthday party? You remind me of our son." He turned his nose up at Yoongi and pointed to Taehyung who hadn't moved from the couch, his face still buried in his phone with a look of boredom and complete disinterest.

Yoongi chuckled and examined the boy's perfect features and radiant skin. He certainly didn't look like his sister, that's for sure. "What's his name?" Yoongi asked with a slight smile as he continued to stare at the other.
"My name is Tae." Taehyung answered and looked up from his phone screen.
Yoongi was startled by the other's reply but was captured in his gaze for a moment as they made eye contact. "It's nice to-"
"You don't have to try to impress me with your fancy greetings." Taehyung interrupted. "I'm not the one you need permission from." He nearly gagged at his own words. He hated the stupid wedding traditions and he knew that he would never be like that when he was older. His father would never agree to his son marrying another man and would probably disown him if he ever discovered that he was gay.

"Permission? For what?" Yoongi looked confused.
"To marry me, silly!" Joohyun slapped his arm before holding onto him possessively.
"Marry you?" He frowned. "Why would I do that?"
"Um... Maybe because you love me?" The girl started to tear up.
"No, baby! That's not what I meant!" Yoongi put his arm around her and tried to comfort her.
"Really?" She sniffled.
"Yeah, I just meant that we're a little too young right now. Don't you think?"
"He does have a point, Joo." Joohyun's mother said softly. Her father could sense the insincerity in Yoongi's expression but wasn't prepared to deal with another tantrum from his daughter if he said anything.
"I guess so." She sighed. "Can we still get married when we're older though?" She batted her long black eyelashes at the male.
"I guess so." Yoongi rubbed the back of his neck and looked away from the girl.

"Smooth." Taehyung said without looking up from his phone.
"Shut up." Yoongi chuckled and bit his lip as he played with one of his earrings.
Taehyung looked up and pouted at the male. "Daddy, Joohyun's stupid boyfriend told me to shut up!"
Yoongi was almost fooled for a second before Tae burst out into laughter at the other's expression.
"Chill, man. I'm not like her." He laughed and shook his head.
Yoongi mouthed the words "thank God" and laughed along with the other.
