Peppira collapsed against the wall.
Almost, there. She increased pressure on her abdomen and kept walking down the hall of the Sahonai tree. She could feel the blood running down her arm. Peppira ignored it and kept moving towards Shiripa's room. Ilake noma tama shikana obatuka shinota, Head to my room and get the case. I know she taught me the Metamoran language for secret messages but for something like this? Peppira turned the corner and saw the door at the end of the hall. She tried to pick up her pace but tripped and fell to the floor.
"Peppira!" Bass and Treble shouted in unison. They ran over and picked her up.
"Hurry, to her office," Peppira managed. The two picked her up and hustled into the room. Shiripa's office was simple but imposing. There was a large bookshelf at the rear with an equally grand desk. A training dummy, robes, and a meditation pillow were scattered about.
"A case," Peppira managed before she passed out. Treble set her down while Bass began to search the room.
"Got it!" He pulled a wood case out from behind the bookshelf. The Namekians quickly cracked it open and pulled out the documents.
"It's in Metamoran, I can't read it," Bass sighed.
"There's a note," Treble pulled out a small piece of paper. "It says, 'If you're reading this, we've failed. Go underground. Peppira, someone will come. Just train until a man with a star on his face finds you.' Well, let's get her out of here,"
Ino smashed all the equipment in the lab.
"Quick, destroy everything of value, go!!" He shouted in a panic.
"Who cares! Let's just get out of here!" Kohga shouted.
"For once I have to agree with my sister. We HAVE to leave now," Iga said calmly. There was a bang against the reinforced door. The three jumped to their stances.
"Well, I guess we fight," Iga said. The door was smashed to pieces. A small figure stood in the dust.
"Wait a minute, that's the old man we cocooned! Alssa saw you get blasted how are you alive?!" Kohga exclaimed.
"It takes more than one explosion to kill me. But the better question is, did you hurt my children?" Makarov said, surprisingly calm. The three simply took a step back. Makarov grew to six times his size. "You will pay for that,"
"Thanks again Laki," Gohan stepped out of the side of the tree and dropped to the ground.
"No problem, but I think I'll just stay up here," She said softly. Gohan dashed down the hall and into a large room. It was lined with cocoons like the one Shiripa's body was in, but there were hundreds more. Most of them were ruptured, but one near the bottom was intact. Gohan walked over and peered in. It was one of the wolf creatures from earlier.
"I guess this is where they created them," Gohan said to himself.
"Creepy," Gohan turned to see that Laki had joined him.
"I thought you were too scared."
"Yeah, I was, but then I thought better safe than sorry," Laki stammered. Gohan smiled and led the way back out of the chamber. They walked down a few corridors before they heard the sound of something sliding across the ground ahead of them. Laki quickly merged into the wall while Gohan ran up to the corner. He charged the ki blast and leaped around the corner, only to find Makarov dragging Shiripa's tied up minions,
"Master!" Laki came out of the wood and hugged the old man.
"Oh, hi Laki. What's happened since I had to make an unfortunate trip?" He asked.
