~Chapter 5!~

Normal POV

Davis had made it to the tree with shaking knees and gasping breaths, immediately looking around for his sister before getting pulled into a tent as a helper.

"Davis, I need you to focus." One of the nurses of the guild snapped her slim fingers in his face for attention, "We need to heal them as quickly as possible, we're losing more mages than expected."

'Than expected'..?

"Yeah, what do you need me to do, Doc?" The young healer told him what to do and he quickly did them, his mind had seemed to be focused on one thing at the moment.

-With (Y/n) & Levy-

The pace of the two girls had slowed considerably, especially Levy. They were both on the verge of passing out, sweat dripping down their foreheads, blood streaming out of various places, and worn out legs that seemed to be walking for miles.

"(Y/n)... How much... farther?" The blue haired girl panted out, the most worn of the two.

"Just a bit farther, we'll make it."

There was the sound of crumpling leaves and breaking branches before a man came out of the trees with a set glare in his cold eyes.

He did seem all that happy, but as soon as his eyes landed on the girls they were filled with concern. He was covered in dirty and blood, probably from fighting. Levy casted her eyes away, looking anywhere but him.

"Gajeel, you're back?" The dark haired man nods, quickly coming over and picking up Levy, frowning to her before motioning with his head to follow him.

"Yeah, mission was cut short. So I got back here as quickly as I could." Levy had passed out in his arms, knowing it was a safe enough place for her to do so.

"Have you seen anyone else on your way in?" Gajeel nods his head with a disturbed look on his face.

"Yeah, but I had to take them to the big tree. That's what the healers have me doing at the moment," He takes a moment to look down to his girlfriend, "But I'm just gonna stay there with Levy when we get back."

"Alright, I'll try taking over for you after getting healed. Did you see Davis there?" The dark haired man shakes his head as they continue on in silence, too tired to speak for the time being.

Davis...Please be alright.
