There once was a beautiful fat turkey that lived on a small farm. His name was Templeton. "Oh my, oh my, oh my!!" Gobbled the silly Turkey. "I am frightened!" He yelled. "I don't want to be the Thanksgiving Turkey!"When farmer John brought the food to the turkeys the next morning, Templeton eyed John. "Thank goodness John doesn't have a sharp thingy!!" He sighed.
John was always a kind farmer, but the day before Thanksgiving, he would steal one fat turkey. Every November, Templeton feared John, even though the gentle farmer would comfort him.
When the food was poured onto the ground, all of the turkeys, except Templeton, gathered around and devoured the meal. Templeton his behind a tree. When one mean turkey passed Templeton to reach the food, he laughed at him saying: "Ha! You chicken!" This nasty turkey's name was Jombo.
