My eyes shot open as I heard the all to familiar sound of my alarm. Somehow I managed to pull myself away from from my bed. Heading towards my bathroom i hop into the shower. Today is my first day working at the New grove book shop. During my childhood my friends and I always hung out there. Drying myself off i slipped into a my favorite outfit.
I braided my auburn hair over my shoulder and headed out my bright red door. I hopped onto my Motorcycle and headed downtown.
"Man the trees sure look Beautiful this time of year"I thought.
I parked behind the quaint little bookstore. As soon as I stepped into the building I was hit with the smell of books. The smell was the best thing in this world. Looking over the counter I see Mrs Oakhurst. A bubbly old lady who is sweet to everyone."Good Morning Mrs Oakhurst."I chirped.
"Good morning Abby. Are you here to start your shift." She politely asked.
"Yes Ma'am I'll head to the back to get my apron. ok"
"All right"She Replied.
Heading to the back room I pass along a hallway which is filled with pictures of Mrs Oakhurst's family. All of them smiling happily. Once I made it to the back room, I was instantly greeted by my best friend Whitney."Ohh Hayyy girl."Whitney greeted.
"Hey Whitney, hows your dog adjusting to the new house?"I asked
"She's doin fine."
"Well that's good."
Once I said that I felt a vibration in my pocket. It was my phone with the name 'Max' as the I.D.
Abby knew what this meant."CRAP I'M LATE FOR CLASS!!"
