Chapter One - Summer

Hi, this is my first time writing fanfic so I am sorry for any mistakes.

This story is a BNHA au set in the summer time. I hope you enjoy!

"Jirou! Jirou! Get up! Everyone else is awake and getting ready," murmurs an unfamiliar but soft voice. I jolt awake but it takes me some time to adjust to my surroundings.

Where am I?

As soon as I see Tsuyu's face come into view, blocking the sun out of my eyes, it hits me. I am on holiday by the beach with my classmates from 1-A.

"Come on," Uraraka says as she pulls me from my warm bed, "we are about to go to breakfast." The idea of breakfast snapped me out of my sleepy daze. Slowly I slipped into my clothes and trudged out the shared dorm into the food hall.

After taking my pick of all the mouth watering food, I sat down on an empty table away from everyone else. I mean, I like my classmates but I have to admit I'm quite shy.

"Um...can I sit here?" someone asked.
"Sure. Go ahead," I reply as I shifted along. I was annoyed at their upbeat voice, it was too early in the morning to be this happy. I look up to see the owner of the voice. Denki Kaminari. Not a surprise at all. He was always smiling wherever he went or pulling that dumb face of his when his brain gets fried.

"You're looking grumpy this morning," he exclaimed taking my hands into his. Shocked, I pull away abruptly causing my chair to loudly scrape across the wooden floor.

"What do you think you are doing?" I shout at Kaminari full of anger.

"Hey, Jirou calm down," I turn my head to see Mr Aizawa cursing at me half asleep but trying to control the situation with a pained look on his face. He was definitely hungover.

Apologizing to Mr Aizawa, I sit back down, and untuck my hair from my ears to free me from all the stares.

"I'm sorry," whispers Kaminari, "I'm just trying to cheer you up after last night's party. You looked so upset after having a fight with Yaoyorozu."

He was right. I was upset...
