"Dear Jeremey Heere, Today's going to be an amazing day, and here's why. Because- because" I stuttered nervously, looking at my bedroom floor, few pieces of clothing were scattered on the floor including my white Eminem shirt and a pair of shoes. I anxiously tugged down my shirt messing around with it.
Note to self: Remind me to burn the Eminem shirt
"Today, um, all you have to do is just, be yourself."I continued, giving myself a little pep talk , my eyes wandering back up to my reflection. My brown wavy hair was all over the place,
Yikes, I'm a Mess.
I sighed before running my hand through my brown locks of hair. I fixed up my favorite red, black, blue, and white stripped shirt and blue cardigan made sure I look presentable. It was my first day back to school since the "Squip Incident".
I glanced over to my red backpack, the words Boyf still written on it. I haven't washed it since Rich wrote Boyf on it, and to be honest my backpack with Boyf written on it is the least of concern. I picked up my backpack and strapped it on
I'm back to being my Anxious self once more...... yaY
"At least Anxious Non-Popular Jeremey is better than Dick-head popular Jeremy,,,," I thought.
I took one fine look at myself in the mirror, I looked like my old self once more.
Plain Old Jeremy
Time to start the day, C-mon C-mon C-mon C-mon Go Go Go Go
My sneakers headed toward the kitchen where my dad was sitting down read the news paper. He was finally wearing Pants. The sight of this made me smile a bit. After the whole "Squip Incident" he changed, not in a bad way but in a Good Way. I walked passed him on my way outside to wait for the bus stop when my dad stopped me.
"Woah, there sergeant where do you think you're going?" my dad asked me, putting down the newspaper.
"Be More Chill, Broadway's unlikely viral hit, is getting a film adaptation"
Huh..
"Umm outside to wait for the bus" I answered staring at him. "Oh no you're not, I'm taking you to school." My dad said out of the blue, getting up from the chair, making eye contact with me which made me even more anxious.
Does anyone else HATE making eye contact? No, just me?
"N-No Dad it's okay, Really," I said trying to avoid eye contact and trying to walk away.
A pair of Hand grabs my wrist, I glanced at the hand to see my dad grabbing my wrist. "Jeremy, please," he said looking at me straight into my blue pair of eyes. "I wanna start being a good father,"He said, looking at me. I sighed before letting out a small "Fine,".
His Face got all bright when I said, yes. "Alright Sargent let's go!," Dad said all goofy like, which made me smile. Dad grabbed the keys before marching outside. I smiled at the sight of this, it's been a LONG time since I've seen my dad like this.
I followed along behind him. My dad got into the driver seat in the red car. I hopped along into the passenger seat, taking off my backpack and put it on the floor of the car. Once me and my dad were both buckled up we began heading of to school.
The car ride was mostly silent, with dad trying to make small talk here and there.
"So how's school"
"Dad, it's Monday I haven't been in school for two days, and overall school sucks"
"Oh-"
"Umm- do you have work today?"
