Jahseh "PUSH!" The doctor yelled. I could see Jalayn's (Jay-lawn)head. Geneva had tears running down her cheeks as she leaned forward trying to see the baby. "I'm doing all of this for you my love" she said to our son. With one last push he came out crying and screaming.
Tears formed in my eyes as I looked at Geneva. She looked exhausted but happy. "Would you like to cut the cord sir?" A nurse asked me. "I can?" I asked pointing to myself. She nodded as I gently snipped his cord. They handed Jalayn to Geneva. She placed him on her chest. "Hey Laynie(Lawn-ee) mommy's here." She cooed as he began to quiet down. She kissed his forehead. "Well I guess you can't call me that can you?" She says starting to cry. "But anyways this is your moment my son, I will be strong just for you" she says wiping her tears.
The doctors and nurses glared at me with disgust. Suddenly I felt bad. This was me and Geneva's baby so she deserved to be in his life I just don't know how. "Come here" she said to me. I walked to her and sat on the bed. "Hey son" I said to Jalayn he smiled at me and slowly went to sleep. Geneva chuckled to herself then frowned when she looked at him for too long. "Geneva.....I want to apologize I'm sorry for how I treated you. I'm sorry for how I lied to everyone like I didn't know about the baby. I'm sorry about the court. I'm sorry for taking Jalayn away. I'm sorry" I say looking down.
She just looked at me and sighed. "Geneva I haven't even talked this up with Auhlia but....you deserve to be in Jalayn's life you really do" I say. "How about...if you moved in with us. So you could see Jalayn everyday even if it meant he doesn't know that your his mom?" I ask her. "I would love that, just being with him is all I ask" she starts to happily cry. We hug each other with Jay in between.
"What will you name him?" The doctors ask. I look at her and she looks at Jay. "I want to name him Jalayn J-A-L-A-Y-N Prince- Genesis Onfroy O-N-F-R-O-Y " she says. "So Jalayn Prince-Genesis Onfroy is correct?" The lady asks. "Yes it's correct" she smiles at Jay.
"Genesis?" I ask my eyebrow raised. "So apart of me will always be with him. Genesis and Geneva" she laughs. They take pictures of him and I send them to Sydney, Gazzy, Aidan's babysitter so Aidan can see, ....and Stokeley.
