Air Force One

Jack and Jackie were in their private cabin. Jack’s back was getting much better but it was still sore so he had to use crutches until told otherwise.

“Would you like massage?” Jackie asked.

“I would love one.”

Jackie grinned and began gingerly rubbing his back. They were sitting in silence when an agent knocked on the door. “Yeah?” Jack said.

Gerry poked his head in. “Oh….I can come back.”

“No, no… what’s up?” Jack asked as he felt Jackie hit the really sore bit.

“It was just to let you know we’ll be landing really soon.”

“Ok, is there a crowd at the airport?”

“Yes sir.”

Jack nodded. “Thank you.”

Gerry smiled and backed out of the room.

When they arrived at Andrews Air Force Base they were guided to Marine One.

When they touched down at The White House, Caroline came running towards the chopper. Bobby was standing holding John. Jackie got off first and hugged her daughter. Jack quickly followed.

As they walked to the residence Bobby came over. “They’ve been very good.” Bobby smiled.

“Good so just like me.” Jack teased.

“No more like Jackie.”

Jack grinned.

“How are you feeling anyway?” Bobby asked.

“Much better, not as tired but my backs still pretty painful.”

“You’ll be alright for the press conference tomorrow right?”

“Yes Bobby.”

His brother grinned before walking off.

Once the First Family were in the residence Jackie went and put John in his cot.

“How are you Caroline?” Jack asked as she crawled on to his knee.

“Good Daddy, are you feeling better?”

“Yes I just needed a rest.”

“Uncle Bobby and Aunt Ethel were fun but I missed you and Mummy.”

Jack smiled. “Well you can visit them anytime but I missed you too.”

Caroline giggled before rushing off. Jack smiled he was glad he was feeling a bit better.
