Resistance (Jack Gilinsky)

Chapter 3

I woke up to my alarm going off. It was 6:30 in the morning, I got up and took a shower, then got ready for school. I put on my light washed, high waisted shorts, with a black crop top. I slipped on my black vans, grabbed my keys and headed out of the door. When I pulled into a parking spot, I hopped out of my jeep and ran right into Gilinsky. He was smiling like an idiot. 

"What do you want?" I asked sternly. 

"You" He said with a sly grin. I narrowed my eyes at him and walked away. I could feel him watching me walk away when suddenly, he grabbed my wrist and spun me around. I'm not the most graceful person, and I tripped. Before I could hit the ground though, he caught me. 

"Nice catch" I said to him as I sighed. I looked up at him and I realized that he is a very good looking dude. I got lost in his chocolate brown eyes, then he leaned in closer to kiss me. Right before our lips connected, I pulled away and ran off. 

"TEASE" He yelled after me as I smiled to myself. Am I falling for him? I thought to myself. I really wanted him to kiss me, until I remembered Allison liked him. 

I was pulled out of my thoughts when Allison showed up to my locker. 

"GUESS WHAT" She said, obviously excited. 

"What?" I said.

"JACK JUST ASKED ME OUT" Allison said. Her words hit me like bricks. I think this is what jealousy feels like...

"That's great" I say, faking a smile. She smiled back at me and walked away to her next class. I do the same, so that I won't be late. This was the class that I had to sit next to Gilinsky, I look over to where he should be and he isn't there. I brush it off and go to sit down, the rest of the day just flew by. I didn't see Jack at all either. 

I was leaving the paring lot of the school, when I saw Sammy walking home. I slowed down and started driving next to him. 

"What are you doing?" I asked him.

"My car broke down, so I have to walk home" 

"Do you want to come chill at my house?"

"Yeah, sure" He says to me as he jumps in the car. 

The car ride to my house was really fun. We listened to music and sang like idiots. When we got into my house, we headed up to my room and started doing homework. 

"So what's up with Gilinsky asking out Allison?" Sam asked.

"I don't know, but he better not hurt her. She really likes him" I said. 

Sammy looked at me and smiled. He was a very attractive person, and I have always had a little crush on him, but I knew that if i told him, it would ruin our friendship. 

"Yeah, I think he is up to something, but I'm not sure" He said. I nodded and went back to doing my math homework. 

"Hey, Mack, I was just wondering, now that you and Johnson aren't together, I was just thinking that maybe you would um go on like a date with me" Sammy said in a nervous tone.

"I would love to go on a date with you Sammy" I said, smiling.

sorry for not updating in a really long time, I was at the beach and didn't have wifi. Also, sorry for such a short chapter...
