Gravity Falls Meets You

Chapter 1: Alex Gets Packing

Alex Way has been living in California all (her/his) life.

Until (her/his) parents decided they should move into Gravity Falls, Oregon.

Your are Alex.

Alex is an only child and has no friends. When (he/she) found out that (her/his) parents decided they should move, (he/she) didn't really care.

(Her/his) parents, on the other hand, were thrilled.

"Alex, aren't you the least bit excited?!" (Her/his) mom Lucy exclaimed. "We're finally freed from this dump, with its moldy roof!!!" Alex hated their house as much as (her/his) Mom did. With the moldy roof, its holes in the walls, and horrible plumbing, Alex hated it. But, (he/she) was at least, grateful about the fact that at least they have a roof at all.

"Now, Lucy, this house may be old, but show it some respect." Said (her/his) dad Luke. "You want us to give a HOUSE respect?" Replied Alex with a questioning look. "I think I am." As (her/his) dad said that, he leaned against the wall and it broke through.

"AAAGG!!! Never mind..."he grumbled Alex laughed. "Good thing you already sold it!!!" He replied in a mumble "Yeah, good thing." "Are you ok, Luke?" asked (his/her) mom with an expression of worry on her face. "Fine." He said grumpily.

"Stop fooling around, you guys." Scolded Lucy. "We still need to pack!" And with that they all got started at packing their belongings.

Alex has been moving around different cities and towns for as long as (he/she) can remember. But this time is different. Now they're moving to a different STATE. It'll probably be a 17 hour drive, and (he/she) can't survive that long in a car!

(He/she) was sitting on (his/her) (f/c) bed lost in thought until (his/her) mom walked in. "Honey, come on, get packing! I brought boxes." (His/her) mom said gently. (he/she looked up, (his/her) big (e/c) eyes looking up at (his/her) mom.

"Hey, I know it's tough for you to move so quickly like this. But it'll be fun! I promise."

Alex pushed back (his/her) (h/l) h/c) hair and slowly smiled. Ok, mom. Thanks.

Lucy smiled and walked out with that smile on her face as Alex got started on packing with the boxes (his/her) mom gave(him/her).
