Chapter 7: Ice and Warmth (final)

Idate greeted me:
-Yo

I was a bit surprised since usually he only open his mouth to tease me, but it was a good surprise, i suppose.

-Hey. I've got a fish for you

I gave it to him, and he devored it in one bite.

-Don't you need to chew your food?
-...Nah

Suddenly, we heard a splash, and then someone i didn't know got out of the water, just like the way Chlomaki did.

He looked like an albino shark. I took a step back. I can feel it. His bright red eyes looked mad. He's from them.

The white shark analized the situation, and turn to me with a "gentle" smile:

-Hello, there!
-H-hello...

The cage was between us, but he began to slowly walk toward me.

-Nice weather, isn't it? You're a dolphin aren't you? What are you doing in such cold place?

I walked around the cage, protecting me with it. Even if i did that, he also walked around the cage to forcefully go near me.

-i... uhm...
-Well?
-It's my home here...?
-Oh, i see! But you know, you should definitely come to the sea, everyone's so happy there! ♪

Idate got up:
-It's been a while since i saw a shark.

The white shark ignored him, and began to run after me. We looked ridiculous, running around a cage like children. Though i was really scared again.

He was a bit faster than me. He took a block of ice and threw it at me. That made me feel really dizzy and i fell.
I didn't understood what happened next. I heard a big metallic *clang*, then some *bam* and the sound of someone groaning.
Then i heard Idate laughter.
-Sharks are so silly.
-uRh...ArgH.......Hh........

Then he said in a very serious tone:
-Now now, what you did wasn't really nice, mmh? I'm the only one who can hurt her.
Idate continued to punch him repeatedly, then let a huge "Aaaaah feels good man". He then finally kicked him back in the water.

I managed to regain back my lucidity, and i saw him looking at me with his usual sadistic smile.

-Well, looks like my little game's over.
-H-h-how did you get out?
-mmh? Oh a little bit after you gave me the cigarettes the second day.
-bu-but that doesn't make any sense! Why didn't you escape? Why couldn't you leave before i gave you the cigarettes??

I was still lying on the ground and he kneeled down just next to me and gently touched my head where i got hit.

-ouch!
-That witch made a cage appeared. She cast a spell on it so it wouldn't move for around an entire day. But then i just had to lift it to get out.

I tried to push him away and get up, but he didn't let go, and i fell again on the ice.

-It's true, i could have left whenever i wanted. But then you wouldn't have come to see me everyday. Hehehe even after all the things i said, you still came back eveyday! Kinda felt nice.
-...but, you just... waited there all day?
-Yes, well i did get out at night, because you clearly didn't give me enough food.

I felt a bit embarrased and looked down.

-Heh, i like that weak and adorable part about you. But i've come to like you now.
-Eh?
-So, of course, you'll have to take responsibility for that!
-!

The truth was, i liked him too. His sweet voice, his face and his strange habit to tease me.
But there's no way i'll admit it to him. His way of doing thing are too violent, but he saved me there. Who knows what would have happened to me if that white shark catched me?

He took both of my wrist, and looked directly into my eyes. He slowly approached his head to mine with his eyes mid-closed. My heart was beating fast, and i felt all warm in my chest. It felt good. I didn't fight it.

He kissed me passionately
