The Makeover

Nelson

Chapter 3:

                    The next day, Elenor went to school without her besties. The day was normal like all other days. She was walking along the corridor when she saw her crush, Nelson. He was talking to his friends. She was so engrossed in looking at him that he was just in front of her. "Hey...umm.. Elenor? Elenor? Are you okay?" Nelson said waving at her. Elenor snapped out of her daydream and was shocked to see Nelson in front of her. "O...Oh hi..." Elenor muttered as she blushed. Nelson smiled sweetly and said, " I'm so sorry about yesterday, I didn't meant to embarrased you or anything...I..I just wanna help..." " Oh, that? I've long forgotten about it." replied Elenor. Both of them went on talking until Alexandra and her gang came. "Hey elephant! Why are you talking to Nelson? Don't you know he is NOT for you? Why are you talking to him?" Alexandra shouted at Elenor. Everyone around them turn to look at Elenor and Alexandra. Nelson glare at Alexandra and look pitifully at Elenor whose body was shaking furiously. Nelson stepped forward, holding Elenor by her arm and shouted at Alexandra, " Why are you always looking down on people like her?! It was NOT her fault! I spoke to her first! Who are you to interrupt my conversation with her!" Alexandra was shocked. She stomped away with her gang and everything resume to normal. Nelson said to Elenor, " Is it okay to eat with you during recess? I would like to know you better! You're such a nice person!"

                 Nelson walked Elenor to her classroom before walking towards his. Elenor, on the other hand, was elated! She saw Allyson and Annabelle and immediately run towards them. She gave them a big hug before relating the incident to them. Allyson and Annabelle whispered to each other and then started giggling.  Elenor look at them suspiciously before getting ready for class. Lessons passed quickly and it was recess. Nelson was waiting outside of Elenor's class. He rushed towards her like a kid and greeted her. Elenor, of course, was appalled. Allyson and Annabelle chuckled before taking out their Polaroid camera to take a picture of Nelson and Elenor smiling sweetly at each other. They ate together and talked till recess was over. Soon, the last period ended and Elenor rushed to her friends' classroom. Surprisingly, they had ended class early so she walk home by herself. 

                    When she stepped into her house, she can smell the delicious food that was being laid on the dining table. She knew her parents was back from their trip. She tiptoe to the kitchen and gave her parents a big hug from their back. "Aww...it feels so good to have both of you back...an..and the food...Madge can never cook these mouth watering food!" Elenor exclaimed. " Stop! Stop Elenor, you're quashing me to death!I know how much you missed me bu..but you don't have to hug me till I can't breath," Lily, Elenor's mother replied "Well, about Madge, she gotta learn someday! Oh! Your friends are in your room right now with your siblings so go change quickly and come down!" After hearing that, Elenor immediately rushed upstairs and barged into her room. She saw Madge, Cody, Annabelle and Allyson laughing at the top of their voice. They were looking at some kind of picture. "What are you doing? What are you laughing at? Let me see it!" Elenor said chasing Allyson for the picture. After some time, Elenor got hold of the picture. She stared at it in shocked and started blushing like crazy. It was a picture of nelson and her smiling. Everyone burst into laughter. It took a while for everyone to calm down. Cody said sarcastically "My dear sister, I didn't know that guy would fall for someone like you." The whole room went silence. Elenor started into space like she was mentally depressed. Madge, Annabelle and Allyson glared at Cody. Annabelle shoved Madge and Cody out, leaving behind Allyson and herself. Allyson then broke the silence,"Elenor, we all know very well you hate being made fun of and how much you like Nelson. So, I think you gotta make some changes to yourself..." Annabelle nodded her head. Elenor looked at her friends like she was lost and said " Me? Changes? Plastic surgery? Slimming pills? People will call me a fake! It's true! I wanted so bad to be slim! But to this extend? I don't think so..." "Oh c'mon!" I didn't say you need plastic surgery or slimming pills! I meant doing it the healthy way! Like running on the track mill, eating healthily and ecetra! We can even give you a makeover and shock all the students in West Greenwood High School!" smiled Allyson. Elenor face light up and she cheered up a bit.

                    "C'mon we need to plan! Call Madge in! She need to know this as an older sister!" Allyson exclaimed. Annabelle came out and came in with Madge smiling sweetly. "Yes ele, Annabelle had told me what you guys are up to. And I totally agree with it!" Madge shouted hugging Elenor.
