Reagan

I threw up the last of my breakfast. I slowly got up and flushed the toilet.  I grabbed a cup from the sink and filled it up with cold water. I gulped it all down to wash the churning feeling from my tummy. I brushed my teeth, put on some light makeup, and brushed my messy hair into place. I looked at myself in the mirror and sighed. I still looked fat like a fat cow.

"Reagan! Are you ready yet? You are going to be late for school!" Mom asked knocking on the door impatiently.

"Sorry mom! I'm almost ready!" I replied checking myself one last time. I walked out of the bathroom and downstairs. I pulled on my white sandals and grabbed my tote bag. "Bye mom!" I called out. I heard a muffled 'Bye Reagan!' from  mother somewhere in the house and I walked outside to my car. Has I was searching my bag for my car keys a door slammed shut in the house next to me. I turned and saw Cesar Ruby walk out of his grandmother's house. He has been living there since last summer. We used to be good friends all summer but we soon grew apart when school started. A few weeks ago an ambulance came and took him to a hospital.

There is a lot of gossip about him. My mother thinks he was a bad kid back then so his parents sent him to his grandma's house to shape him out and the grandma abused him so that's why he went to the hospital. I don't find that true at all. He is way to shy and kind and so his is grandma. He never told me what happened to him and when I tried to ask he would become really sad. So that's why I never asked him. He still looks a little sad. There was dark circles under his eyes, his blonde hair was messy, and he looked skinny. I smiled at him and waved.

"H-hey Cesar!" I called. He turned and looked at me.

"Oh hey Reagan" Cesar said. Looking surprised that he was talking to me.

"I havn't seen you at school for a few weeks" I said.

"Yeah I had some... family issues" Cesar said looking down at the ground.

"Oh okay" I said smiling weakly.

"I uh... like your new blonde hair" He complimented.

"Oh thanks. I dyed it when school started" I thanked.

"Yeah I know. Your in the cheer team or something right?" He asked.

"Yeah. We are having a game next week you should come and watch me cheer" I suggested.

"Sure I guess. Even though are football team sucks" He chuckled shyly.

"They do" I giggled. He looked so cute when he chuckles like that. "So..uh... do you need a ride to school?" I asked.

"No thank you. I have a bus coming soon..." He said slowly backing away shyly. Like I was making him uncomfortable.

"Oh okay..." I said nodding my head "See you later" I said smiling.

"Y-yeah" He said turning away and walking to the sidewalk. I quickly got to my car. Did I do something wrong? I asked myself feeling embarrassed. I turned on my car and peeled out of the driveway taking one last look at Cesar. He didn't looked angry at me. He just looked... sad. I turned away from him and drove down the street.

Phoebe

I walked down the stairs. My black boots were thumping on the thin wooden steps. I walked into the kitchen to make myself some breakfast. Natalie was standing there in a white thong and a white crop top.

"Dammit Natalie! Put some clothes on!" I snapped shielding my eyes from her white butt that was showing. She turned and glared at me.

"These are my pajamas you brat!" She snapped.
