"Mom, Mom, look here" I show her the drawing I made.
She looks at it indifferently, gives a small smile and returns to stare at the emptiness.

I was hoping to cheer her up like that.
I put the drawing on the bed and back to Katherine.
"What she said?" hopeful question.
"Nothing" I answer.
She never says anything.

We do many other drawings but we keep them for us.
It's not worth it.

"I hurt myself!" she start to cry.
"No Katherine shh! don't cry please, let me see"
She is cut herself with scissors. I take her to the bathroom while she keeps crying.
"Katherine, shut up, please"

I hear footsteps. His steps.

"Why are you crying ?! You're a stupid baby!" he starts screaming.
He approaches and tries to throw a slap but I put myself in front of her.

"No! Don't do it! ... she's small! she's only two years old"
"You shut up!" his hand hits my face.

It's the end.

I hear a knock on the door and I go to see who it is.
"It's me"
And what's he doing here?

I open the door and invite him to enter.
"Hi Andy" I smile.
"Hello" makes a forced smile.

"Can I talk to you for a moment?" question.
"Sure"
We sit on the sofa and start talking.

"I ...ehm you are so much like a person who was important to me. Every time I look at you I  think of her " sighs.
"Please forgive me if I behaved strangely, but you are identical, and I remember many memories"

Oh.

"All right, don't worry," I smile reassuringly.
I'm sorry to remind him of old memories.
"Thanks" he hugs me and at that moment Ryan enters.

I probably left the door open. I have to be more careful or next time I find myself a Bedouin at home.

"Oh there you are, we were looking for you" he says to Andy.
"I came to talk to Jade, now I go to the others" the blond rises.
"Goodnight" greets me.
"Night Andy" goes away closing the door and Rye sits next to me.

"What did he say to you?"
I don't know if I can tell him, Andy didn't tell me if it's a secret or not.
What I do?
"Nothing important" I shrug.

"What do we do?" I try to change the subject before he starts with the 'torture' to know what the blond told me.
"I don't know."

We think about it a bit 'and I don't know why his mother comes to mind.
"But how's your mom?"
"Oh she's fine" he smiles "why?"
"I don't know...and Robbie? The little ones?" I love those babies.
"They're all fine, they've grown up now" he chuckles, looking at me.
"Oh God I want to see them!" I miss them too much.

He picks up his cell phone and shows me a picture of Robbie and the little ones.
"But they've grown so much, are they really Sammy and Shaun?"
"Yep" he smiles.

"And how's Katherine?" question.
I show him photos and I inform him that I also have another brother.
"What's his name?!" he makes a too funny face.
"Edward" I answer and then burst out laughing.
"Why are you laughing?"
"I don't know! you make me laugh" he starts to laugh too and we end up lying on the ground.

"My stomach hurts" I laughed too much.
"Already me too" we get up and go back to the couch.

"Do you work tomorrow?"
"Yes, from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm"
"Okey, when I come to get you,we'll go to  dinner together" he takes a lock of my hair and rolls it around his finger.

"You don't have to come and get me every time"
"I want to do it so I do it"
"Okay"

"In the morning do you want to come with us? Let's turn the cover"
I lean my head on his shoulder.
"I don't t know... it's your thing I'm not a part of it."
"No from the veni"
"If it's okay for the boys I'll come"
"It will be good for everyone" he says sure.
I'm incredibly sleepy.
"You ask them for tomorrow and let me know" I say yawning.
He nods and continues to play with my hair.

"I'm sleepy,come with me" I get up and take it by the hand.
Let's go to my room and lie down on the bed, resting my head on his chest and he sighs.

"You changed balsam" he says suddenly.
"What?"
"Your hair doesn't smell like honey,you've changed balm"
But what...
"Yes this is lavender"
"I like it"

And I like his scent, it's so good.

I feel my eyelids getting heavier.
"Goodnight Ryan"
"Goodnight princess" leaves me a sweet kiss on the nose.
