What am I doing? Why do I follow these orders? Kaas thinks to himself.
He steps outside. There's a certain warmth in the air that somewhat soothes him, but he is a little angry nonetheless.
"This is pointless," he says, fixing his rather 'dashing robes', as he and his party call them, and sighing. "Well, I guess someone has to do it. Why it would be me I simply don't understand. I do everything for these people!"
Walking on the sidewalk, avoiding carts and wagons of many. The people of the town seem to be rather joyful today, waving and smiling and...holding hands...and hugging.
Kaas wanted nothing to do with this.
Absolutely nothing. But he was forced.
By whom exactly?-
Kaas lets out a yawn and slowly sits up in his bed. The sun is slowly coming out.
Perfect timing to go and practice, he thinks to himself. He gets up, puts on his decorate robes, and walks out of the door proudly. Tivona and Andraste were already awake, drinking what seemed to be something warm...milk? Tea? Kaas couldn't tell. All he could tell was that they were in a brilliant conversation, their eyes flashing with awe at each other.
Probably talking about healing or something weird like that. Healers! He rolls his eyes. The others were still fast asleep, probably enjoying their few more minutes of shut-eye.
"Well, you're up early!"
Kaas jumps a little as Amberle appears in front of him.
"Hah, didn't know a decorated officer would jump that far when being greeted. Funny." Amberle smirks.
"Not funny." Kaas blushes a little at the insult. I have to absolutely get back at her for this! Hmm...
"Pretty funny for me! Oh, and since you're up so early, we could use some supplies." Amberle smiles. "Now I don't have to do it! For once!"
"I'd say you're perfectly capable-"
"Nope! You're going! Besides, its just one thing because I was thinking I wanted to make toast this morning..." Amberle grabs for a basket and hands it to Kaas. He reluctantly takes it.
"This is super girly! Did your grandmother give you this? How precious," Kaas says with sarcasm. Aha! That'll teach her not to mess with me in the mornings!
"You could say. I mean, she wasn't my grandmother, and she didn't give it to me," Amberle winks at Kaas.
What a heathen. Why does our Cleric hang out with this criminal?
He looks in Andraste's direction.
Still talking with Tivona. No idea what she's in for with Amberle. They must really have a bond.
He looks back at Amberle and shrugs nonchalantly. "If you're really lazy, which is weird for you, since you're so capable of attacking without mercy, then perhaps I shall go. What do we need? Bread?"
Amberle shrugs. "I don't know, what did I say I was going to make?" She smirks, walking off in the direction of Tivona and Andraste.
Ugh...why did she have to 'escort' me? All she's good for...just making me mad.
"I don't know! Guess I can't go then!" Kaas says with a sarcastic look and voice to match. He steps out the door and accidentally slams it.-
Her. By her exactly.
He finally reaches the marketplace. He looks at all the common folk buying food, trading goods. He just needed one thing.
He sighs.
Let's get this bread.
